A Colorado baker who refused to make a cake for a gay couple has been given an ultimatum by a judge; serve gay weddings or face fines.
Administrative law judge Robert N. Spence found Friday that Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Denver, Colo. violated the law when he turned away David Mullins, 29, and Charlie Craig, 33, from his shop last year.
In his written decision, Spence ordered that Phillips "cease and desist from discriminating" against gay couples, or face financial penalties, and cited Colorado state law that prohibits businesses from refusing service based on race, sex, marital status or sexual orientation.

Great idea.
Post a sign in the window letting patrons know where a large percentage of income is going - to pro traditional family groups and ministries that help homosexuals escape.
That should stop them in their tracks.

Publicly tell the judge to go ---- himself. Make the stand now.

"Food for Thought!" The next time you hit the fast food place that has a compliment of minorities for staff. Consider that they can “surreptitiously adulterate your order," and there won't be any Administrative Law Judge (read worthless scum) to help you redress your "grievance." They all subscribe to the "Martin Bashir Theory of Retribution!"

This may be easy for me to say, because it’s not my cake shop, but the only correct move here is to refuse to obey the judge’s order, ESPECIALLY if they are doing this for religious reasons. If the financial burden of the fines would be too harsh and the accompanying harassment too much, then close shop and move. Obeying this blatantly illegal and unconstitutional order is surrendering to tyrants. It really is that simple.

If a judge can order a private business to cater to homosexual weddings, can a judge be ordered to cater to sharia law?

Could they really sue for harm done?
I'll remember that next time I get a squished burger bun at McDonalds.

There's always the option of paying the fines and not making the cake - while asking for support if the fines increase.
Granted, it may not be the most comfortable solution, but it does have some principle behind it.

Your lawsuit would only work, if it could be shown that McD’s was systematically squishing the buns of some identifiable group.
If this baker could be shown to predominantly baking bad cakes to homosexuals, it could be shown that harm was being done, I think.

No, then they could sue for harm done. I think the best way to handle this is bake the cake, but publicly give the proceeds, minus costs, to charities that free homosexuals from bondage. Let the homosexuals deal with that. Best reply, perhaps in addition to circulating business cards that reference Romans 1.
Of course, I'd be tempted to have the groom and groom at the top of the cake performing a graphic act.

Bake the cake normally. Smile as you hand it to them. Tell them you made it “extra special” for them. That’s it.
Let their minds do all the work for you, everyone will be afraid to touch it.

What is they ALWAYS made a cake depicting anal sex and sadomasochism? Maybe that would get the point across.
Anyway, damn this commie fascist country. We wasted so much innocent blood defending it!
