The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is sending out letters telling gun owners to turn over their rifles and shotguns or else face the consequences.
You have the following options, the letter explains.
1. Immediately surrender your Rifle and/or Shotgun to your local police precinct, and notify this office of the invoice number. The firearm may be sold or permanently removed from the City of New York thereafter...

So this guy rowed across a lake and doggone the boat flipped and the guns sank to the bottom. Nasty luck.

A good time to report your firearm stolen due to a break in. Can this actually be happening, as it did in Nazi Germany?

When you live in a large liberal city, expect the urban liberals to do what urban liberals do! At least they can still get a bagel at 3am (for whatever reason any civilized person would even give a crap about that).

What are we going to do about it?
I live where this is VERY unlikely to happen, so it would be easy for me to play tough guy. But...I hope I would have the nerve to refuse and shoot back when the swat team arrived.

I talked to my neighbor’s grandson over the holiday. He was transferred from NY to Detroit several months ago and actually prefers it largely due to the gun laws.
If he tried to sit on his porch and clean his guns in NY he’d have a SWAT team show up and cordon off the neighborhood. In Detroit, police just give him a nod and keep on rolling.
