Team Obama Takes "Affordable" Out of Latest Obamacare Campaign
Town Hall ^ | 12/6/13 | Katie Pavlich

President Obama hit the campaign trail again this week in an effort to reboot support for Obamacare as the failed rollout continues with a broken website and broken promises.

Speaking from the White House Tuesday, Obama declared "Obamacare is working," and that we "aren't going back." But for Obamacare to truly be "working" for the American people as promised when the Affordable Care Act was passed, it must in fact be affordable. We've seen the opposite. Young people will pay double under the ACA, young women will see their health insurance premiums increase on average by 193 percent and five million Americans have lost their coverage only to find plans under Obamacare are more expensive for less care.

As the public relations campaign for a law that is unaffordable rolls on, Byron York has noticed something: the administration is no longer talking about Obamacare in terms of affordability.

One striking thing about the new White House Obamacare promotion campaign is that so far it hasn't had much to say about the central focus of Obamacare, which is helping Americans buy affordable health insurance.

We should remove Mr. un-affordable from the white house.

I wonder if democrats realize the only way they will ever get any credibility back and any semblance of integrity is to impeach this idiot before it's too late.

Even if the Republicans gain back the seats they lost in 2012 and do gain a majority in the Senate, we are left with the leadership we have now have there, which is adverse to any real change.

they can’t call it “Obamacare” because that will forever brand their hero as the namesake of this POS

You can't unring a bell….and it's Obamacare now, and forever…..branding their hero in perpetuity.

Not sure how much it’s been discussed, but if the “TAX” act was to be imposed now on everyone as written .....I think every member would be moving quickly to repeal...........

May Obama, the democrat party, and cowardly republicans reap what they've sown.

Quickly and many time over hopefully!

I will never “feel sorry” for LIBs/DIMs/RINOs who are destroying Free America. They deserve eternal suffering and damnation. I seek Justice for them and relief from their destructive idiocy.

It’s not going to be Affordable, so that word can be removed.

Folks under this Act aren’t going to get Care, so that word can be removed.

So it’s the Act. The Act. In urban zones where they can’t pronounce it, it’s the Ax.

For me "affordable" means four times higher than what I'm paying now.

Me too.

4 x $0 = $0.

Obummer has done his usual “doubling down” (”won’t be repealed while I’m in office”) when things don’t go his way and with the rotting stench that is emanating from OBAMAcare now

At some point, he's going to go into full retreat from Obamacare. When he does, he'll remind one and all that he never supported it in the first place, and that it was those dastardly Republicans who forced him to sign it.

0bama said my health care would cost $2,500 dollars less per year.

I thought he was going to send me a check for $2.5k.

Where's my cash pie???

“Obamacare” is all about health insurance and very little about actual healthcare. Another hugh problem it has. In fact, in some cases, it is anti-care.

Serious! I'm startin' to get just a little bit irritated waitin' on my money - you know what I'm sayin'? On top of that, they reduced my damn EBT benefits last month.

What kind of hope and change is this?

Once Obama extends his presidency beyond 2016, he will move to make the act of not having health care a felony with jail time being required for those not having health insurance.

It is NOT affordable, it does NOT provide care, it is just an ACT, an edict.

yep!
