December 05, 2013, 02:12 pm WH admits Obama briefly stayed with uncle
By Mario Trujillo
The White House confirmed on Thursday President Obama had met his uncle, Onyango Obama, who was granted legal residency to the country this week reversing a previous statement.
The White House had previously told The Boston Globe that the president had never met his uncle, after Onyango referred to as Omar was arrested in 2011 for drunk driving.
But it revised its statement on Thursday, saying the press office had not actually asked the president about his relationship with his uncle before talking to the Globe in 2011.
The president first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school, White House spokesman Eric Schultz told the Globe.
The president did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The president has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.
Obamas uncle, who had been living in the country illegally for nearly 40 years, told a deportation hearing on Wednesday that Obama briefly stayed with him at his apartment during college.
The White House maintained that the deportation case was processed without interference, according to the Globe.
President Obamas aunt was also granted asylum in 2010 by the same judge.
My friend, a Chinese woman, didn't hang out with "Barry." He was one of the cool guys and she was horribly shy. She just knew that he was popular and she wasn't. She is still shy.
Did Uncle Onyango let his druggie nephew turn tricks in his apartment?
Yes. I got "Obamacared" in a major way to the extent that I will be running naked after 12/31/13 and I might never file another tax return.
