LONDON (AP) - The editor of The Guardian says his newspaper has published just 1 percent of the material it received from former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden.
Alan Rusbridger is being questioned Monday by Parliament's home affairs committee as part of a session on counter-terrorism.

In the end, I believe the revelations divulged from this release will prove to Americans that its government is actively against them in a substantive manner.
bttt
What ticks me is that the Dems were constantly beating the Repubs to death on this surveillance. No comparison. The Dems are data mining your assets. That’s what Obamacare is really all about. They could care less if you live or die...it’s all about...as usual...money. At least Bush was doing it for Security purposes and I believe ALWAYS in good faith.
How is it that your champions anti-American Marxists?
If Russia and China have the information why don't WE, the taxpayers who paid for all of it?
Could you rephrase your question so that it is comprehensible?
How is it that you cannot see what he has thus far divulged has concretely shown our government is working against our privacy?
I really don’t care what you think.
If it’s incomprehensible to you I would suggest ignorance and naiveté on your part. Or perhaps just disingenuousness.
Snowden is a traitor, not a patriot, who in no way acted in the interests of the US or it’s citizens.
The Guardian is an anti-American, pro-communist, pro-socialist organization which has for decades actively worked against the American way of life and ideals of freedom America represents.
Yet people posting here see such as champions who are somehow saving them from evil forces.
I d are that you spread this leftist word view.
He is a traitor pure ad simple.
I do not understand why anyone supports him.
“At least Bush was doing it for Security purposes and I believe ALWAYS in good faith.”
The NSA has been running these kinds programs going back to at least the Clinton administration without interruption. Bush didn’t do anything to rein them in, so he either approved of them or couldn’t be bothered to pay attention.
??? You have no idea what you are talking about.
If Snowden is a traitor, then the bureaucrats he betrayed are a hundred times as traitorous as him. Why are you defending them by trying to make the issue about Snowden, the bit player on the stage?
He means. “How can you champion these anti-American Marxist views.” I don’t mind the language problem. I do mind, however, the implication that an American cannot be interested and upset that HIS/HER government is violating the US Constitution.
Good, well articulated response.
The Guardian is leftist to the core.
Snowden has given secrets to People’s Republic of China and former USSR.
The Guardian and Snowden in no way acted or are acting in the interests of liberty.
Separate issue, but your premise is off.
I think you are saying the bureaucrats are seditious.
To be clear,
I do care that you spread the leftist worldview.
All the words you used look like English, but what exactly were you attempting to communicate with the phrase "How is it that your champions anti-American Marxists?"?
I can't quite seem to parse it into a meaningful thought.
Slow down. I think you have an idea of what you are trying to say, but your fingers are typing gibberish.
