It provides motorists with $1,000 to $1,500 to retire their high-polluting vehicles.
Another freakin' plan to scam & screw working Americans.
C'mon, this is 2012. Just how many "high-polluting vehicles" are left on the road?

Only the neo-aristocrats are entitled to tax justice. The workers and peasants exist to support the poor and the neo-aristocrats. Back to work, workers and peasants!

Taxpayer to pay for those that don't work to drive new or newer cars by way of vouchers to car manufacturers who gave great donations to the Democrat party?
Only a matter of time before the people march on government the way this seems to be going, really.
Look at the disaster in stores Thanksgiving just over saving a few tens of dollars.
Now imagine Obamacare taking hundreds a month more from people's wallets or those on the welfare state having less freebies.
This experiment in socialism is going to implode. The people will revolt IMO on all sides.

They’ll likely need another batch of subsidies to pay for upgrading home electrical service to charge the electrics, and then to pay for the electricity.

The very vocal minority will scream “Not one penny for a California bailout!” And we will be summarily vilified and ignored. The takers are the majority. Amnesty will cement that. It saddens me to inform my 16 year old daughter that this once great nation is doomed to nothing greater than mediocrity and at worst, a slide into totalitarianism.

Having a car is a right. It can be found just after the part of the constitution that explains the right to kill a baby and right before the food stamp rights clause.

How can someone be poor when they get a free phone, free food, free money, free car, free apartment, reduced cable TV and free insurance premiums?
While the person who works gets to take home 52% of his “salary” and the rest goes to the lazy slobs?
