"The popular and unrelenting support received to those who are borderline obese (not just 30 to 40 lbs overweight) frustrates me as a fitness advocate who intimately understands how poor health negatively effects a family, a community and a nation," Kang wrote, according to News 10.
According to Kang, her post was taken down within three hours of going viral. Facebook then shut down her account, saying her words constituted hate speech.

She’s entitled to her opinion and frankly, there are way too many fat women out here.
I’m gobsmacked by the young mothers in their 20’s and 30’s with gobs of fat hanging from their waists, and they wear yoga pants.
“Do I look fat” questions need to be answered truthfully.
Yes, you do. And ditch the yoga pants.
I was a skinny (for me) 175 lbs and a 10k and marathon runner when I was younger. Then I turned 62 and had to have both knees replaced and had open heart surgery within a year of each other. I still walk for an hour everyday now that I’ve recovered from the surgeries, but I gained weight and am having a very tough time taking it off now that I approach 66.
Ah, to be in my 20’s and 30’s again and a dreamer. I never thought I would gain weight until life and age hit me head on and I did. Trust me. This gal will have put on 20-40 lbs by the time she is in her 60’s. She’s just too young and doesn’t realize it yet.
Fat people have a better chance of surviving a heart attack than skinny people.
They used BMI which is a useless stat. It would put many athletes/bodybuilders in the same category as fat slobs.
Plenty of people maintain fitness for their entire lives.
Jogging is the worst exercise I can think of.
There are dozens of studies that measure fat, not bmi, that show the same thing.
We have been lied to by agenda driven scientists for decades. Being skinny is not healthy.
Pray America is Waking Up
Golly!
I’ll look some up then.
I wonder what the reason for that could be...
Good thing she didn’t say anything negative about crackheads.
True. I'm 56, 5'6" tall, had 4 kids and weigh 5 lbs more than I did in high school. Plan to stay as close to 125 lbs as I can, without jogging (hate it). Lifestyle choices or excuses.
And when will there be a suitable alternative to Facebook.
Everything I read said they don’t know the reason, they speculate but conclude the reason is unknown.
Great job! Being consistent is huge over time.
I’ve found that eating animals and plants is the way to go.
Dropping bread, pasta, rice, and liquid calories has made all the difference.
If you do weight lifting, walking, and some mobility/stability work, you should be just fine.
Quality of life is something that isn’t accounted for often enough either.
We've known all along that speaking unpleasant truths about any "protected" group is hate speech to the left. Looks like fatsos are a new "minority group".
I was wondering if overweight people see the doctor more often, so the doctor catches serious issues earlier. Just my speculation of course.
Lol. Ever seen a fat 80 year old?
