‘You don’t understand how bad it is here’
The Marine told his father about training the Afghan police and described their chief as “a bad guy.”
“They’re going to kill me here,” the son told his father. “They’re going to murder me inside my facility. These people are bad people, Dad.”
“You people don’t understand how bad it is here,” he explained. “They don’t care about us. They don’t want us here. They said it to me. But we have to do what we’re told to do because we’re Marines.”
Buckley Jr. described how he how he wasn’t scared about fighting; he was scared about being murdered at night while he was sleeping.
“They’re not normal people, and we shouldn’t be here. We’re serving no purpose. We’re being lied to. They’re telling us one thing and it’s a whole other agenda. They have their reasons for us to be there. And as soon as we stand up and say something, they make us disappear,” the son confided to his father.
Deadly premonition
A few weeks later, the Buckley family received a goodbye letter from the Marine.
He thanked his parents for everything they’d done for him and told his two younger brothers to grow up to be great young men and always to do the right thing.
A few days later, the Marine was dead.

According to the Egyptian military leader - in claims he intended to substantiate in the trial of Morsi, which was postponed possibly as a result of terrorist threats - Obama’s regime arranged with Morsi to have terrorists in Afghanistan moved to Egypt close to Israel, so Obama could get us out of Afghanistan claiming a win when the terrorists all know it was Obama conceding to them. We might note that the terrorists could then focus all their energy on destroying Israel. Made easier now that the Obama regime has recognized Iran’s “right” to have nuclear power (weapons).

Let’s not kid ourselves. W started this. The night it started I told my wife “This will go on forever because we’re not willing to do what will have to be done to win it.” The only way to defeat these people is to nuke them off the face of the earth. We won’t do that.
Where I blame obama is he’s been saying since day one he was going to bring our troops home. We’ve been there for 13 freakin’ years. He was going to close Gitmo. Come on, obama lovers! Hold him to his word for once!
And by the way, Gitmo was a stupid idea. We built a POW camp to house “POWs” who aren’t fighting for a recognized enemy. Just how long did we expect this shit to last? They all should have been executed the day they were captured. Again, we won’t do what must be done.
If I was a soldier stationed there I’d knock the crap out of some NCO or officer I didn’t like, get courtmartialed, sent to Leavenworth for a while then go home. If I wasn’t in the military I sure as hell wouldn’t join.
We should follow the example of the Romans after they defeated Carthage.
First thing you don’t even claim that they are on your side if they are Taliban or Al Qaeda people, or child molesters. Second thing, you don’t give them an armed advantage. Third, you don’t let them make last-minute changes that don’t show up on a helicopter’s manifest.
Those things immediately come to mind. I’m sure there’s a lot more.
These people are not our allies and to be truthful, anybody who would be an ally with the Obama regime is crazy. We don’t have any allies as long as Obama the usurper is in power. All Obama does to allies is eat them up and spit out their bones. Ask Netanyahu.
Infuriating.
As sad as this story is, it is of little value in determining whether “they” want us there and for how long. There are certainly well-armed people who do not want us there, and most of the action takes place where they live. But the government has not asked us to leave, and the large assembly of tribal elders has just approved the plan for orderly withdrawal with only a small force remaining. The story is certainly no basis for calling the entire nation a “POS.” I find the use of expletives on this site appalling.
