You prefer to be slow boiled. I prefer to hop out of the pot. You like your socialism one state at a time. I'm happy to fight it on a national stage. You long for Romney, or McCain, or Christie. I long for Cruz, or Lee, or Palin. Do I miss Romey? Oh hell no. But you feel free to. It's your right.

Not sure the American people would have done that at all — in nearly every state now the American People are Stuck on Stupid.

Bullcrap! Every son of a bitch that voted for Obama would have still voted for the bastard. I do not refer to them as Americans. They voted for Obama because: 1. The freebies that Obama and the Democrats promised them. 2. They hate the American way. 3.They were ashamed of being born White. 4. They thought Obama was Black. 5. He was not a Republican.

Amen! See my post #40 — I hope it gives you a lift as much as seeing your post did for me! Happily, in spite of the louder mouths here on FR and in the Republican community in general, MOST conservaties and Republicans agreed with you and me. It is why Romney LOST. They were smart enough decline voting for the leftist Republican.

Ironically, they would have voted for Romney if they'd understood that he'd have made Obamacare "work" all right, which he would have as far as that kind of organized tyranny goesJudging by Project ORCA, I bet Romney's website would have been as much of a cluster-you-know-what as Obama's is.

The worst danger of electing Romney was that he would given us Romneycare 2.0 or Obamacare Lite. As well as other liberal lite policies. And then the failure of everything Obama started would happen on his watch, and Republicans would get blamed. Sort of like how Bush got blamed for the housing crisis the Democrats created through Fannie and Freddie. Romney winning would’ve probably guaranteed he’d lose in 2016. Which is why the election was lost the day he won the primary against a conservative alternative.

Logical me, your screen name is a LIE. It should be "kneejerk emotional me."
Romney is on board philosophically with the entire concept of government-run health care. Voting for Romney was voting for a guy who believed the same things as Obama when it came to the government's role in "free" Americans' lives. State or Federal, socialist nanny state government tyranny is socialst nanny state government tyranny. And you call yourself "logical"!!!!!!! What a joke!
You, IL"logical me", need to leave the Republican party and go join the Democrat party. PLEASE DO SO NOW.

With Romney, people were more concerned about Romney's magical underwear than the welfare of the country ... You have zero idea of what really happened. You are blind as a bat.

Well, Im not president so I cant be so clear minded as to tell you what I would have done. But my own plan was to say to each state, Youve got a requirement to move to a point where all your people are insured, and where you cover preexisting conditions. Were going to give you flexibility from the federal government level to help you be able to do so." -- Mitt Romney, November 3, 2013.
You've presented the myth that Mitt Romney doesn't support state health care before. He doesn't support a 'state decision'. He supports the federal government making the states implement socialized health care. Here are his own words, from just over three weeks ago.
http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/health-care/item/16885-romney-instead-of-obamacare-i-would-require-states-get-everyone-insured
Other posters have it right. Romney would have implemented socialized health care on a state level and the Republican Party would be destroyed for it in the press and at the grass-roots level. No, I do not miss Mitt Romney for any reason. Why do you?

Thank you for so effectively pulling back the curtain to expose the fraud Romney. He truly represents a SCOURGE. It is sickening to see how many "Republicans" on FR fail to understand that Romney and other statist/leftist Republicans, must either BE OUSTED from the GOP, or a third party and all the disastrous risk that entails, WILL be a consequence whether we like/want it or not.

You must have ignored the hundreds of posts here. I had sight enough to read them. Also, MILLIONS of evangelicals stayed home -- that is not a fantasy.
To: Jackson Brown
You wrongly think Romney lost because he was a Mormon. That is YOUR fantasy.
Romney lost because he was a LEFTIST who was pro gay agenda, pro environmental agenda, pro government-controlled health care, and pro-government in general.
Romney lost because he was a leftist. As long as you go on believing the fantasy that he lost because he was a Mormon, you will remain as blind as a brick and obstruct the Republican party from becoming the party to FIGHT GOVERNMENT TYRANNY and restore American freedom and righteousness.
