If a Republican candidate NEEDS conservative advice, they shouldn’t be a Republican candidate.
Good
The writer makes a mistake by trying to equate being republican with being conservative.
The republican party has not been a conservative political party in more than 20 years.
Mr. Christie is not a conservative, and I doubt he will listen to, much less heed, advice from conservatives.
If Christie is the Republican candidate in 2016, they will lose... everything.
A political party is doomed without its base.
Bring back the Hillary Red Phone add and overlay Benghazi photos. She let it roll to voicemail several times while America sovereign buildings burned and an ambassador was sidomized and killed.
I don’t like him.
I DO trust him. I trust him to be a socialist, and I trust him to pander to the parasite class and the ruling class, and I trust him to stab Americans in the back.
Therefore, I WILL NOT vote for him.
Inasmuch as he shows displeasure with pubbies while kissing Obama’s @$$; the best advice he could receive is to run as a democRAT.
OK, we're off to a good start.
After chrispy creme loses 100 pounds, and doing so by running 5 miles a day carrying an AR15, stopping at mile 2 and shooting 100 rounds, pick up a Glock, run another mile and fire another 100 rounds, run another mile reciting, out loud, the entire Bill of Rights, then we can talk.
Actally, yes it is a deal breaker.
Who is Kurt Schlichter and why does he presume to speak for conservtives and Tea Partiers?
The fact that he lists GOPe water carrier Hugh Hewitt first in his list of 'big 10 conservative talkers' could be telling.
I don't like Christie. I don't trust Christie. I won't vote for Christie.
Of course the point of the article is not to convince Christie to become a conservative, that is not only hopeless but unverifiable in the event of an unlikely Epiphany. The point of the article is to illustrate to Republicans of good instincts who not as obsessed with politics as we are why they should be wary of of this fast talker.
Just another self righteous Yankee in RINO clothing....
Fat and stupid is no way to go though life. Once more the GOP will send us out a loser and ask us to suck it up for the good of the party. I for one will not vote again for the party pick or send them a penny to fund there RINO dick.
Christie is a rino POS who likes Muslims, gun control and illegal immigrant amnesty. NJ just passed law this week to give ILLEGALS in-state tuition. If the Dems in NJ vote for him what does that tell you ?
The author ignores the obvious. Once elected, a RINO no longer needs conservatives. They can pretty much do whatever they want in the manner of Senator John McCain, and we’ll be pretty much powerless to stop them. Good luck, for example, of convincing a gun grabbing and amnesty supporting Chris Christie to change his mind on these topics once the election is over. That’s about as foolish as women who marry total jerks because they think they can change them.
Run on the Democrat ticket.
I will not be voting for a moderate Republican for President! Or the horse they rode in on!
To give conservative advice to CC is to hate Big ‘C’ Conservatism.
Gov CC is OWNED by the interests who made and own Obama.
The men who put Obama in office can whisper in CC’s ear on any subject, at any time 24 hours a day 365 days a year, and expect near 100% compliance by CC, EXCEPT in the moments when dolts like the author here force CC and his owners to ‘triangulate’ in Clintonian fashion to position his public positions to hoodwink and bamboozle the nation’s conservative GOP primary voter base in the primaries.
To write an article like this is to prove to the audience you are a .... (fiull in the blank)
