Piers Morgan once said "a lot of things are just perfect about Barack Obama," but now the President is in the liberal CNN host's doghouse. According to Morgan's repeated comments on his Friday night show, the President's credibility had been completely shredded.
"I find it very difficult, this ObamaCare thing. When I see the repeated footage of him standing there saying, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan, just telling it outright porky pie to the American public, I don't like it. It's not the Barack Obama that I expected," Morgan lamented. [Video below the break.]
The liberal CNN host argued to Democratic guest Howard Dean that Obama's lies were repeated and premeditated:
"It wasn't, Howard Dean, like he just said it once and it was a slip of the tongue, he said it repeatedly. He went on and on and on and on telling the American people, 'you can keep your plan, you can keep your doctor.' He must have known that neither of those things was true and he must have known the reason he was selling it was to sell his program."
Obama's "credibility problem" is undermining his campaign message of transparency, hope, and change, Morgan added:
"Here is the problem. It's the President's credibility. You know, when I watch the video mashup of him just saying endlessly to the American people two complete falsehoods, it is very damaging because you want to believe that guy, that's why he got elected."
Later in Friday's program, Morgan ripped the ObamaCare rollout: "I'm not happy with him, alright? Because I think this ObamaCare thing has been an unmitigated disaster."
And Morgan insisted that he is "very, very angry":
"But you can be like me on this, though, Harvey. You can you be supportive of the principle of ObamaCare, which I am. Coming from a country that has universal healthcare for all. You can support that but you can also be irritated by the rollout failing because it may kibosh the whole thing. But you can also be very, very angry that the President lied.
If we do that, there won’t be anything left of him to deport.
It’s funny that he’s mad about the dishonesty because the leftist agenda would get NOWHERE if leftist politicians told the truth about what they intend to do and what they believe.
what is porkie pie? Is that a British slang term???
Now that he sees Obummer for what he is, let him stay...
Well, Piers, if that IS your real name, it's EXACTLY the Barack Obama I expected. Perhaps I should be the one with a cable "news" show instead of you, since you're such a poor judge of character.
Oh, how darling.
The little British queer is having a hissy cuz his Dear Leader is screwing up the imposition of Socialism on the stubborn colonials.
Pobrecito.
What about Bill Maher’s POS HBO show?
Piers Morgan: “I think this ObamaCare thing has been an unmitigated disaster”
Piers Morgan, a few minutes later: “You can you be supportive of the principle of ObamaCare, which I am”
=
I am guessing, as a child, Piers Morgan would frequently get beat up for his lunch money by bullies. Then, after school, he would try to make friends with those same bullies by buying them ice cream.
P Morgan isn’t made that Ob lied. He is mad because P Morgan wasn’t “in on the lie”. Liberals are fine with lying to other people but if the liberal gets fooled, the liberal will take it seriously and be very mad.
The situation is very simple: they lied, they got away with it, and what are you going to do about it? Red-faced outrage isn't doing anything about it.
ROTFL Morgan still wants to believe the campaign message, in the face of so much evidence to the contrary.
Oh, this is VERY TYPICAL of a sheeperal.
You see, they’re not really in it for the ideology,
they’re in it for the self-righteousness.
They can think of themselves as “good people” because they support policies that they believe are intended to help people.
Doesn't Morgan feel like a blithering idiot?
“Piers is a disaster.”
He’s a racist.
A tenet of the left is that their political enemies are inherently immoral.
So, pointing out who Obama was from the start obviously came from an immoral foundation, and therefore was to be denied and dismissed outright.
I have no idea.
I don’t watch any network news. If it isn’t on FR, I don’t need to know about it—LOL!
He probably had his insurance canceled.
Let’s see you walk off the set with one of those Monty Python funny walks, you insufferable twit.
Now that he's dissed The Won he may be.
When you’re as stupid as Piers Morgan, you frequently find yourself surprised by even the most predictable of events.
