DEVELOPING: The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to block controversial Texas abortion restrictions that have been called some of the strictest in the country.
The court by a 5-4 vote denied a request by Planned Parenthood to block a ruling by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which allows key parts of the Texas abortion law to stay in effect while the case plays out.

God bless Texas and may this great state continue to lead America to greatness.
It is odd a mosque. Just thinking about what I saw in Green Bay. Because the I-43 Bridge is shut down because of a sinking pillar. I had to take Velp avenue. I was shocked to see the Islamic Society of Northeastern Wisconsin. Up here in the Upper Peninsula of MI, moslems and the like are hard to find. when the iron mines started to shut down in the 1950s through 1970s the Jewish synagogue was closed in Iron River. the Iron mines closed and the jewish population left. the synagogue was converted into a catholic church eventually the church closed and a now it is non denominational church of 50 people.
still think the ought be in prison or worse
Now we have to keep Texas RED!
Thanks for the analysis (from us non-court watchers).
Leftist are working to turn Texas blue so I imagine that’s why they’re foing ahead with those plans.
I suddenly realized the operating left are now Vampires.
That require very precise, exact remedies.
Four conservatives and one moderate sided with the Constitution of the United States of America. Four liberals sided against it.
Kiss my conservative baby-loving AZZ Wendy Davis!
Lurking Libertarian’s brief summary was entirely correct as far as it went, but it omitted the thorough evisceration Scalia performed upon Breyer. It’s well worth reading. Breyer’s dissenting opinion is only five or six pages, and I read it first in order to have it in mind when reading Scalia’s even shorter opinion. Complete beat-down.
Thank you Lord for an answer to prayer.
yep!
There are over 80 mosques and Islam worship centers throughout the greater Houston area and I understand Houston is 9th in ranking of Islam friendly cities in the U.S. as well as muslim population. That population count was several years ago but from looking at some of the suburbs I would suspect it is considerably larger now. There is a huge new subdivision close to where I live, 2500 new homes. Real estate agents who are muslim sell most of the new and resale homes in the area. Governor Perry was quite friendly and supportive of those he called “peaceful muslims”. Rather an oxymoron IMO.
Very, very troublesome when you consider the potential of everyone who is easily crossing the border from Mexico as well as the number of people who are being given sanctuary in the U.S. by Obama and the State Department.
It’s only a “controversial” law to the Godless Left. To those with understanding, it is a glimmer of reason and common sense meant to help a little to protect the lives of tiny people.
Wonderful news.
In reality, these restrictions have been ruled to be Constitutional. This is a major decision that gives great deference to each State's ability to regulate abortion. Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, at this point, stand for nothing more than that abortion can not be outlawed during the first two trimesters of a pregnancy. They are as close to be overruled as a SCOTUS decision gets without being overruled.
LOL, perfect name for her! (Wendy Davis)
Breyer was the (homosexual) beat up while “playing” after-hours in a DC “park” who then needed hospitalization, right?
where can I read it ?
