Americans are supposed to have sympathy for the accused terrorist detainees now on hunger strike to protest supposedly cruel conditions at the US military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
“I don’t want these individuals to die,” President Obama recently lamented, adding he intends to close Gitmo and transfer the detainees to US prisons.
But just a few years ago, detainees got so plump from overeating hummus and other dishes from the camp’s Islamically correct menu that commanders specially ordered treadmills to help them lose weight.
Then they ordered them again — because they weren’t made by Muslims.
“Even the hunger strikers were gaining weight because of all the food, so we go out and buy all this exercise equipment and throw it in the rec yard,” a Gitmo official said of a 2007 requisition. “Within the first week, there were guys saying, ‘Hey, this stuff is made in the US — made by infidels — and we’re not going to use it.’
“So what did we do?” added the official, who requested anonymity. “We took all of that s–t out, gave it to the soldiers to use, and bought them equipment that was made in a Muslim part of the world.”

Waist of money?
Give ‘em a pile of nice, big afghani granite boulders and some hammers. Exercise problem solved.
Last I read we paid for a 100 million dollar soccer stadium for them last year.
I don’t know how popular this opinion is going to be but why are we even taking prisoners in the Mideast and then shipping them to Cuba for life in a detention center? Its nuts.
Whatever we want to do with detainees should stay in Azzaghanistan or Iraq or wherever. Interrogate them and then either kill them or let them go. If it was up to me I’d ship all the detainees in Gitmo back to wherever and tell them if we see you again we are going to blow your head off. Instead we warehouse these losers and give them a life of luxury like they never knew in the Hindu Kush. 3 hots and a cot and clean clothes is unknown there.
The soldiers should start a pig farm so they can be more self sufficient...cuz Obama is shortchanging them.
So then the Iraqis or Iranians or Afghans should ship all US prisoners to the US...See how that doesn’t work...
obama coddles his brethren at gitmo and globally.
Remember the call to evening prayer is the most beautiful sound on earth!

Make them fat and happy and then ship them home with a big send-off and thank you card from the USA thanking them for all their ‘help’ *wink* in fighting terrorism
Let them take care of them for us
Force the terrorists sign up for Obamacare: that would be more excruciating than water boarding. Just think of the INTEL we would get then!
Let them get fat. They would be a lot easier to catch if they escape.................
