Temp went from 40 to 80 yesterday, here in TX. It wasn’t a violent transition, but, geeze that Is remarkable
Getting mighty dark here in DuPage County.
Another sign of danger... Record high temperatures and dew points for the date in many areas of those tornado watches.
I want Fall back.
Yep, I can see it coming here in Will County .... looks like it's gonna be a rough afternoon.
Here's my game-time prediction for the Bears-Ravens at Soldier Field this afternoon:
Today's Bears vs. Raven's prediction:
Halftime Score: Ravens 16, Bears 9. The first half will be a battle of field position and field goals.
As the Bears and Raven's re-take the field for the second half, at least 3 different weather systems will collide over Soldier Field. The resulting tornado's, hail, lightning, thunder, flooding and more will make the "fog bowl" look like a walk in the park.
The damage to Soldier Field will be so extreme that it will no longer resemble a toilet bowl on the lake front. The Ty D Bowl man will make a come-back-from-the-grave final appearance to push the toilet bowl handle one more time and flush the entire game, both football teams and anyone dumb enough to actually attend a Bears game right down the proverbial crapper.
The NFL Commissioner's office in one of its most controversial calls in about three weeks will have no choice but to declare the Raven's the winners as both teams make their way to the bottom of Lake Michigan.
That's my game-time prediction and I'm sticking to it!
It’s unusually warm in Lansing, MI now. Quiet, cloudy, but the sun peeked through for about 10 seconds a few minutes ago...

Warm here in Central Illinois 71 degrees...dropping to 30’s this evening. Right now it feels like I’m in the Wizard of Oz with the wind blowing so hard!
Crazy.
But I remember a day like that in Mississippi. There was an issue with the base weather guys and a seasoned long timer pilot who told them, it’s 75 deg now and 45 deg on the other side of that front. He ignored the weather guys and shut down flying, tying the planes down.
The sky was green. The storm was violent. knocked down every pine tree.
We just didn’t have weather like that where I grew up. Well, hurricanes are a different story.
About 60 here outside Ann Arbor. Gray and rain here. Not terrible. Yet .
The fastest temp change I have witnessed was in Nebraska in ‘82 when it dropped from 90 to 40 in a half hour during a tornado warning.
The high this morning was 78 just west of St Louis.
The stadium announcer at Soldier Field just cautioned fans of the chance of a tornado in the area today.
Soldier Field’s GM says in event of tornado, fans will be moved to covered concourse areas and service tunnels under the stadium.
Soldier Field holds 63,000 people. According to NFLN it would take 15-20 minutes to evacuate everyone.
BREAKING NEWS: JAY CUTLER INJURED IN TORNADO WARNING.
November is a highly unusual time to be getting a dangerous severe weather outbreak, but people need to take this event seriously. The four previous November "High Risk" events (1989, 1994, 2002, and 2005) have resulted in a total of 148 tornadoes and 62 fatalities
