Record early voting in Albuquerque’s “Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Ordinance”

The city clerk’s office has informed KRQE-TV that there’s been a record number for early voting on a proposed ordinance. What has caused over 23,000 people to vote as of this morning?

The city of Albuquerque’s “Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Ordinance,” which would ban abortions after 20 weeks, the juncture by which science shows the unborn child can experience pain.

Early voting ends November 15th and Election Day is November 19th. (There is also a run-off election in one city council district that will give the city a new councilor.)

There are four known late abortion centers in the United States—two of them are located in the city of Albuquerque.

Another thread on this that may interest you. It came out that a local hotel is not only giving discounted rates for people coming for late term abortions, but providing transport to the clinic.

I’m in Albuquerque and they’ve even had people from out of town trying to vote. Early voting ended Friday evening and for those that didn’t vote early, Tuesday the 19th is the day to vote.

I agree Jim. The procedure described to abort the baby is horrendous and at a cost of $8,000 per procedure, someone is making a boatload of money on this.

They are preying on women who are in a very vulnerable position.

Many are being told that their children are deformed or have a birth defect. Many of these women simply decide that they do not want the hassle of a child that has special needs. They are told it is ‘no big deal’ and is actually ‘merciful’ to abort. Where some are simply too selfish to have a child that might take more than a little time, or isn’t ‘perfect’.

These people sicken and anger me to no end and our disgusting POTUS is a prime cheerleader for these sickos.

Actual experience has shown these special children to be specially lovable in their own ways. Because they remind us of the principle of victory in spite of handicaps.
