A pair of immigrant teenagers confronted Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) at a Capitol Hill diner on Wednesday morning, telling him their parents were in danger of deportation because of the Houses inaction on immigration reform.
Boehner was eating breakfast at Petes Diner his regular morning pit stop when Carmen Lima, 13, and Jennifer Martinez, 16, approached him with a video camera in tow.
After Lima shared her story and asked the Speaker to commit to immigration reform, Boehner told her, Im trying to find a way to get this thing done. Its, as you know, not easy. Its not going to be an easy path forward, but Ive made it clear since the day after the election that its time to get this done.

> The news article indicates that the two teenagers claim
> that they were born in the United States and thus believe
> that they are US.
Then their actions should expose their illegal alien relatives to arrest and deportation.
Then they should not have come here illegally!
You mean to tell me, Boehner having heard the sob story did not break down in tears.
The two should have been detained, arrested and immediately deported.
Shoot, maybe I’ll renounce my citizenship and get on that gravy train....now, how do I change my skin color from white???
Do I come to your house when you’re eating breakfast??? get the Fu** out
while you’re here, please refill my water
What would have been wrong with just telling the truth?! That his job is to represent thelegal taxpaying citizens of this country! To do what is best for them . Sorry.

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
What are the chances that a couple of Latino teens would even know who Boner is, let alone recognize him in a diner?
I smell a Rat.
