A guard who works at the last remaining abortion facility in Mississippi was found guilty of four counts of simple assault this past week for pepper-spraying several Christians who were praying and singing hymns on the public sidewalk.
As previously reported, the incident took place in January of this year as the Christians stood outside of Jackson Womens Health Organization in the state capital. Cal Zastrow, one of the men who were struck by the pepper spray, told Christian News Network that the guard, Roy Benjamin, did not want the Christians anywhere near the facility.
He came off the abortion mill property and put an oscillating sprinkler on the sidewalk to get all the pro-lifers wet, Zastrow explained. My 15-year-old held his boot over the sprinkler, so the bottom of his boot was getting sprayed but he wasnt.
However, just moments later as Zastrow and the others were singing hymns on the sidewalk, Benjamin began to unleash pepper spray on those standing nearby.

Sad.
The guard off super easy. If the Christians had pepper sprayed the guard, then they would be sitting in jail today.
That “guard” likely works for another company like Pinkerton or Securitas, contracted to the clinic. In the event of a lawsuit his parent company is gonna leave him out to dry. Lawyer up, buddy, your life might get interesting soon.
Looking at the video, I have to say that the behavior of those “Christians” was pretty ugly and I doubt that they convert a single woman when they’re out there threatening hellfire and screaming and singing off-key.
The guard obviously shouldn’t have done that, but maybe these “Christians” need to review their outreach approach.
good
on to civil court and sue the clinic for millions
And what is really going to happen to him. He’ll still have his job. What’s it really going to cost him.
Sad to say, you are correct.
Perhaps you'd be happier if the mom converts but the baby dies anyway?
1. The singing off-key USED to be most annoying to me.
I was at church where the organist was so good and so nice. One Sunday, after Mass, I was complaining to him that I got really annoyed by the off-key singers.
What he said to me was this: "God made those bad, off-key voices so HE should have to listen to them too."
After that I was never bothered by off-key singers too much because when I heard them I would look to the heavens and say to Our Lord: "Well, how's THAT voice? Pretty bad, innit, Lord?" Then I would chuckle and forget about being annoyed.
2. Ya think?? :o)
Christians always in quotes and a great deal more criticism of the ProLifers than the guard who was, as the story tells, convicted of a crime.
Gosh, I wonder just which side of the abortion issue this livius is really on.
No, no I don't. Not really.
Let’s see now, Murdering unborn children versus Christians upset about it and not able to do anything about it but sing poorly and annoy the vile Abortuary doctors... I think God would be more forgiving of a Christian with poor tact than a murderer of children... but that’s just my opinion.
“Pinkerton man.”
“I doubt that they convert a single woman when theyre out there threatening hellfire and screaming and singing off-key.”
I am not aware of this particular group, or there belief background. However, you should have enough sense to know that this is about trying to stop a woman from killing her child. At the time, converting her is not the primary goal...although it would be ideal.
Unless you think abortion is OK...which seems unlikely when your about page indicates you are old line Roman Catholic. So, instead of criticizing these folks...what have YOU done to help stop abortions from occurring????? I think you need to be quiet on this issue.
That guard should be doing hard time for felonious assault. His company should be sued out of business.
Time to let the civil suits commence!
