Reminds me of when Hillary was walking among the seated attendees at one of her rallies saying something like “Yes we are going to take your money and redistribute it but we don’t tell you because you’ll object but don’t worry, it’s good for you.” She just HAD to let people know that she was morally superior to them - she could have stayed silent but how would that “notify” them that she was morally elevated above them and would do things that they wouldn’t like but would be good for them. Like MIchelle saying Obama is “going to make you work” as if people weren’t working before and didn’t know how. Ah, yes, I remember what a hard bargain those big GOP majorities in the House and Senate were driving back in 2009 during this debate. Demanding this, demanding that, withholding this. Yeah, Obama really had to give up major parts of his reform due to GOP stonewalling until he finally watered it down enough that Republicans could vote it. Yep......

When you have as a starting assumption that the progressives that get elected are morally and intellectually superior to everyone else,
yes, that would be a “logical” conclusion.
The masterminds that think that they can force utopia upon everyone always fail. Then as their policies begin their crumbling, they must target their political opponents for blame of that failure. The useful idiots buy in to their demonization and eventually start screaming for action.
Something must be done to those that are opposing utopia! It usually leads to tens of millions of deaths and their utopia still isn’t realized.
