Oh, puh-leeze.
President Obama carefully apologized for something Thursday. (See video below.) But not for lying.
Attempting to staunch the growing furor over his countless misrepresentations about Americans keeping their existing health plan under ObamaCare, the Democrat granted an exclusive interview to NBC News' Chuck Todd.
"Exclusive" is what politicians grant 1) to get extra oomph from their interview with one media outlet and 2) to avoid the news conference's reportorial feeding-frenzy that accompanies the scent of political blood in the water.
First, what Obama didn't do. He didn't apologize for misleading the entire country for three-plus years by saying without qualification dozens of times that if Americans like their existing health insurance plan, they can keep it. "Period." (The Real Good Talker) didn't admit any mistake there, not even an inadvertent one based on his enthusiasm for what he believes is best for his countrymen.

Obama, you REALLY meant what you REALLY said on tape (my last count was 30 times), PERIOD!
The only sincere apology would be for Obama to step down.

He lied to Congress and he lied to the People, repeatedly and emphatically. He achieved his agenda through fraud.
I think that is a high crime and mis-demeanor [intentional spelling].

Obama said he was sorry that people are losing their coverage based on promises he made. Which isn’t even true. They are losing their coverage based on the law he protects. He even apologizes with a lie and has no idea he is doing it. Then Matt Lauer has the nerve to ask Sarah Palin for her reaction to his apology. These people deal stock and trade in deception and lies.
“no matter how we reform healthcare”, “no matter what”, “you can keep your plan and doctor”, “period”.
Not out of context, repeated 30 times.
If pigs could vote, the man with the slopbucket would be elected swineherd every time, no matter how much slaughtering he did on the side.
While giving a little Lucifercare pep talk, Obama reiterated, “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.”
A member of the audience stated, “But I lost my plan.”
Obama promptly responded, “You must not have liked your plan.”
Just like a stool sample - you have to pass it before you know what’s in it. (Pelosi)
Initiative and the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut (or “Spite Hut”) are total strangers, he has never met a collectivist scheme he didn’t like.
And I quote:
“If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that.”
“There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me because they want to give something back. If you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.”
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”
His unending hymn to the mighty power of The State and the principle of collectivism.
Yeah, the evil insurance companies and greedy doctors are responsible for all this mess. Obama is pure as the driven snow.
You must have missed the part where he said “Just kidding.” If you like your CO2, you can keep your CO2. NOT! (see tagline)
