Poor Barack Obama. Ending his fifth year as the worlds most powerful man, he is running out of scapegoats and fairy tales. Blaming George W. Bush has lost its punch, and the ObamaCare debacle is shredding the myths he is competent and honest.

the Obama Protection Racket, led by the Times, cuts both ways. It is a key reason he has defied political gravity for so long, and also why he is now in deep trouble. What worse is brain-dead newspapers around the country follow the New York Times as if Abe was still in charge... fools following fools off a cliff.

The coverage in the New York Times is reflective of the 30% of the non minority population that is so ideologically committed to the “progressive” agenda that that will follow Obama virtually anywhere.

Have no fear, citizens!
the Lamestream Media (a term invented in the hallowed sanctum of Freerepublic.com) will reintroduce political gravity to presidential coverage when the next "republican" is installed as chief executive

Millions of Americans have lost their healthcare plan. Obama’s liars say it’s only 5% of the people.
IMAGINE if the group insurance hadn’t been delayed for a year???? I would imagine there would just about be a revolution.
The repubs were STUPID for letting them delay part of it for after the mid-term elections.

Only 30%? FRiend, it’s more like 53%.
But you are correct, they will follow Odinga into the vestibule of Hell, and blame George W. Bush for the heat.

yes! Finally. No one has focused on how the media is complicit in all of this. But they very much are.

The real problem I see is not the dying MSM (which gets a lot of notice on FR but not so much in the real world) but the progressive control of all major internet portals.
That’s where the future is.

It’s not just the NYT - it’s 90% of the media who’ve been in lockstep with Obama from the beginning. Too bad the media don’t believe - or act on - their own “watchdog” slogan when a Dem is prez. They are worse than prostitutes.

You are very correct on this. I don't know how many times, when researching a topic with political implications, I do an Internet search and have to wade through a sea of liberal propaganda before I can get to the facts I'm looking for.

Once excerpt at the bottom off topic:
GOP knives out for Christie Some Republicans wont take yes for an answer. Fresh off his landslide re-election, where he got a third of Democrats and a majority of women and Latinos, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is getting the traitor treatment.
Rather than hail him for winning in a blue state, angry GOPers are accusing him of getting ready to switch parties and gasp of being fat. Gov. Kris Krispie, one reader calls him.
The attacks on the likely 2016 candidate must bring a smile to Dems. After all, tarnishing Christie now mostly helps two people: Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
He got the Women and Latino vote, but we're crazy to think he's a Democrat, when Democrats are the only ones who can get those to demographics to vote for them.
LMAO

My experience (via my kids aged 26-32 and their friends) is that they are completely disconnected from newspapers and probably 80% disconnected from television news. If it’s breaking news, they’re watching Twitter.
If it’s not on the net or smartphone, they don’t see it. They do watch sports on television.
My grandkids see a newspaper (WSJ) at our house and ask me what it is.
All the folks on FR who say to ignore social media are the same ones who didn’t worry about progressives taking control of our public schools.

You mean like having to read 1000 words into an article, before you spot the main points that would have clarified everything at the beginning, if it had only appeared there?
Agreed!

...As the worlds most powerful man...
Well, thanks to Obama, he's not as powerful as Merkel or Putin. But that's just the "Presidency," not something timeless like Barack Hussein Obama. Maybe Barack Hussein Obama can have a consolation prize? Like, he could be the world's most powerful homosexual man? That would make the mainstream media just has happy. And maybe get another Nobel Prize? The point is, we need to understand what a great President he himself has been. Above the Office, above the People, above America, above morality and God and all that living, breathing, stuff, there is the man. The homosexual, African-Indonesian crack-smoking man. And he's on vacation again, which makes this a perfect time to think about new ways to recognize his immortality and omnipotence and websites and stuff. Dig?

I am 31 and I am down to one paper at home because I was sick of seeing political talking points in print and not news. I refused to pay for that any more.
