If you are a health policy reporter for the Washington Post and take upon yourself the role of cheerleader for Obamacare, the task can be quite challenging. Therefore one must admire the effort that Sarah Kliff displays into putting a positive spin on this bit of pathetically sad news:
The District of Columbia's insurance marketplace has enrolled exactly five people in health plans, according to documents released by the Senate Finance Committee on Friday.

I see not just amputations on the wrong limb....but on the wrong patient.
There are 632,323 District of Columbia residents, and most of ‘em are ‘rats.
Rodents don’t buy health insurance.
A timely joke. A nurse is chasing a man in hospital gown down the corridor with a container of boiling water and the man is screaming. Doctor walks out in corridor and upon seeing the unfolding scene, shouts, “Nurse, I said prick his boil.”

My husband asked me what I wanted for my Birthday. I told him, Something expensive and unnecessary.
He signed me up for 0bamacare!
Ba-Dump-Dump! Thanks, Ill be here all week! Try the veal and dont forget to tip your waitress! :)
Sounds like the number of annual murders in the entire state of North Dakota.
Ping to Post #6, LOL!
Well, I guess she is right in a way. I mean if DAY ONE for the entire country yielded a two-handed SIX (6) count, then the per capita success of DC is indeed encouraging. /gag, I-threw-up-in-my-mouth-a-little, sarc.
The MSM whores for democrats. They wonder why they’ve lost respect...
Denial is a very strong and controlling emotion...especially in those who are terminally LIB/DIM. This subhuman wretch, sarah, is in total denial of many things, including that she is a pathetic writer. She should don sack cloth and wander the wilderness begging for forgiveness.
You’re correct. The writer is in some ways MORE culpable for this egregious excess than the sloths it sustains. You get rid of people like her, you get a step closer to stopping this stuff.
And here I was, trying to figure out what to make for breakfast. You solved that for me, thanks....
Of course they’re going to get their 25-30% of the drooling, obedient Obamabotic morons.
And if there is a large number of people signed up for the coverage whose home address is a bush on the side of the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago, that's not original. At one time I think there were 28 people living at that bush who were registered to vote.

Colorado Woman Who Championed Obamacare Loses Insurance Plan

CBS4’s Shaun Boyd talks with Kathy Wagner (credit: CBS)
For years the president said that those who like their current plan would be able to keep it, but it turns out thats not the case.
In order to comply with the Affordable Care Act insurance companies have had to cancel millions of policies, forcing people to find new, and in many cases, more expensive coverage on the exchange.
Wow! A whole 164 policies were bought but not paid for yet! Why, that’s a 3280% IMPROVEMENT over the 5 who actually paid! A very good sign indeed that obamacare is going to be a roaring success, don’t you think?
It’s a truism in both politics and journalism that once a thing becomes the object of widespread ridicule, NOBODY wants to be associated with it. Obamacare is heading in that direction with lightning speed.
Nah, she notices, she just thinks that all of that lava is going to defy physics and go the other direction...:^)
