Obama calls Netanyahu after criticism of Iran nuclear plan

U.S. President Barack Obama called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday after the Israeli leader delivered a stinging rebuke to Washington over a deal taking shape in talks between Iran and world powers seeking to curb Tehran's nuclear program.

The telephone call marked an apparent bid by Obama to tamp down growing unease over the emerging Iran deal among the United States' Middle East allies, including Saudi Arabia, as well as mounting opposition to the plan on Capitol Hill.

"Any deal that breathes life back into Iran's economy in return for token and superficial moves that put Tehran no further from nuclear breakout ... appears to be a horrific strategic error," said Josh Block, chief executive officer of The Israel Project, a non-partisan, pro-Israel organization.

Anything that Obama proposes should be rejected outright. ANYTHING, on any issue. “PERIOD.”

"If sanctions keep Iran from completing a nuclear bomb, we can keep them in place, period" -BHO

Now Israel feels better.

There is no doubt that most Western interests would prefer a Saudi ordered Sunni Mideast. The Saudis and the Israelis both have a common interest in Iran being weakened. Both find it intolerable that Iran has made such strategically significant inroads in Syria.Israel is terrified of Iran positioning mobile short range ballistic missiles in Syria which would hurt Israel badly if Israel attacks Iran. The Saudis unsure of their own stability cringe at the prospect of Shia strength in their own backyard. That is why both Israel and the Saudis are taking an extraordinary gamble to support al Queda led Islamists, which neither is sure they can control to overthrow Assad and throw the Iranians out of Syria. Yet none of these moves will bring long term stability to the region. It remains chaotic, backward continues to squander its resources and the masses remain impoverished. Doubt any one group, Shia, Sunni or Israel can dominate long term. BTW Russia has a severe problem with jihadists in southern Russia. It will do all it can to prevent nearby Syria from becoming dominated by political Islamists. Syria would then become a base and haven for the jihadists.

You know what I find so hilarious about that? Letting those facts fly when talking to a drone, they spin like a top at them!

You miss the point.

The point is that Obama set out to make himself a world diplomatic hero by peacefully and diplomatically encouraging Iranian nuclear disarmament.

They is, he is giving peace a chance . He is stroking his own ego. He is all that matters. He is the him, the won

Well, the story just says the Kenyan called. It doesn’t say anybody answered. The same guy who reported the call would have reported great happiness if there had been a meaningful conversation.

No bluff. The Egypts have a long history with Ivan. Remember it was all Russian hardware that Moshe blew all to hell in both 67 and 73. And the Russians built the Aswan dam and probly help keep it running just as examples.

Read up on the Semi-bluff as applied ....
http://www.cardschat.com/semi-bluff.php

“So what exactly is a poker semi-bluff? Well the simple definition is whenever you bet with a hand that has good potential to become the best hand by the river, you are semi-bluffing. You are bluffing because you currently have no hand when you bet. However, you have good “outs” to end up with the best hand by the time the last card is dealt.”

So in this instance my meaning is, they can, but they rather not, and if the situation keeps unfolding in Russia’s favor, they will.

Your take on the situation is qutie interesting and has the ring of truth. One seldom things of nuclear weapons as being defensive in nature.

The Israelis have been secret allies to the GCC for some time now. I think they have all the plans for dealing with Iran already made and in the can. Our military was part of the secret war room but has now withdrawn

With the desertion of Obama, they must now get serious and revert to plan Orange 3 that was for the contingency where the untrustworthy Obama would chicken out.

Obama lacks the ability to prosecute war, is a pacifist coward and a plain old damn fool. They all know that and I think they pushed him to get out, to turn them loose to act.

That indeed is how it looks, Obama going against US and Western interests.
Remember what he told the Israelis? “I’ve got your back”?

What a liar.

Obama:
Bibi, stop making me look bad!

Bibi:
Mr. President, we will not be sold out like Czechoslovakia, 1938. I will safeguard the lives of my people.

Obama:
Oh, you Jews are so clannish! We Muslims need to reconquer Jerusalem...

Bibi:
What!? What did you say Mr. President?

Obama:
Oops, I mean, uh...Bibi can I call you back in 10 minutes?

Bibi:
Wha-
