The Republican Task: No Obamacare, No Iran Nukes
The Weekly Standard ^ | 7 Nov 13 | William Kristol

Watching the Obama administration at work this week, a friend offered this judgment: Under Obama, Iran keeps its nuclear program and Americans lose their health insurance.

Historians and political scientists will have much to say, after its collapse, about contemporary liberalism’s propensity to be at once tough on American citizens and soft on Iranian mullahs. Today’s liberals are pleased to use the power of the state to nudge—not to say bully—their fellow Americans, while shunning the exercise of power abroad, preferring to accommodate—not to say appease—the nation’s enemies. It would seem to be a paradox.

NOT gonna happen by the spineless, statist, treasonous GOP.

The GOP is too busy arming al Qaeda,
continuing the coverup of arming al Qaeda,
and continuing their support of RomneyCARE/ObamaCARE.

>>Beginning with legislation in the House this week to allow Americans to keep their current health plans if they wish, congressional Republicans seem to be getting their act together in opposing Obamacare. <<

The pubbies folded last month to defund Obamacare.

Just like the 40+ times the House voted to repeal Obamacare, a vote to allow the serfs to keep their old plans is a sham, just something to campaign on next year.

Reform will not emerge from Washington. There is too much money to be made in our corrupt system.

“Republicans seem to be getting their act together in opposing Obamacare”........

Seems there are records of numerous attempts by the Repubs to stop this pending trainwreck. The resistance will fail if the budget is passed next time and will allow FUNDING for the mess. The Repubs have to stick to their guns and cut off any and ALL spending for odumbocare.

The House has the majority. They, through design of the constitution, have the responsibility to fund or defund, as a stopgap to these anuses of power by one of the equal branches

We have accepted that because the executive branch and the media which chooses to defend him, have taken things into their own hands, and act like bullies, that the house has an out.

But the truth is that they wimped out, pretending that this thing will go away on its own that the people won’t put up with it, but that’s not our job, theefore its not going to happen

We hire the congress to do its job not to worry about politics but to say no to bad policy
