We have a quiet day here. I may have to mow grass at the church later. As far as the events, our POA has two large buildings I have to close on my ranger shift. There are a lot of weddings and other events in those facilities and many times run until midnight.

Well, I talked to the morning ranger and there will be the annual Oktoberfest this evening. They couldn't get the facility in October because there was a Hispanic couple that married the only weekend it was available. When it came time to close the building, the ranger on duty could not find a single person who could speak English.

Sorry to be so late this week buckaroos, but sometimes real life takes precedent. As I mentioned last week, former USMC Titan is visiting this weekend and just happened to show up at my 3 hour visit with Michael last night. It was the first time she's seen him in over three and a half years, and although he doesn't remember her as Godmother, they hit it off in grand fashion. We took loads of pictures, but only a few are worth sharing because of the blur of kid activity. We went to Pump Up The Fun and played in the bounce houses, on the giant slides and obstacle courses. We made some new friends in Lucy and her brother Kaylin and outside of complete exhaustion on my part we had a wonderful night and lots of fun. We ordered in pizza and at the end of the night I gave Mike his new bicycle for his birthday and some FReeper gifts that have been piling up. It was an awesome few hours with lots of love and hugs. Thanks to all who helped me get through the years leading up to this.

Semper Fi and happy birthday Devil Dogs and happy Veteran's Day to my brothers and sisters everywhere. I'll see y'all in church.
