Obama's vision of government is government as a shiny new toy.

As high-speed rail project falters, Obama’s vision of government remains unfulfilled

Everything 0bama touches turns to SH*T!

“Scott Walker, rejected $823 million in funding that the federal government was offering, and the Transportation Department transferred the funds to California.”

And Dianne Fineswine rejoiced. Thank Obama for refilling the trough

While the high-speed project has made a tangible difference already in some parts of the country

And then she goes on to explain just what that "tangible difference" is -- NOT.

“and the manufacturing jobs that come with it.”

What manufacturing jobs? The only manufacturer the article mentioned is in Spain!

High speed in the mid west, sure, to get out of it as possible. Wonder if any Libs would set foot here in Cincy.

Libs congregate in a 4 block area downtown and want their blessed streetcar to nowhere.

There are not enough travelers to fill the Badger Bus from Madison to Milwaukee, the Greyhound from Madison to Milwaukee, and the Megabus from Madison to Milwaukee. They expected a train to be full based on that?

Thankfully Florida Governor Rick Scott put the kabash on the multi billion dollar boondoggle high speed rail in Florida from Orlando to Tampa....

It would have been known as the "ghost train" because nobody would ride it...

It is actually about the same price to rent a car verses buying subsidized train tickets from Orlando to Tampa which is an hour drive...

The 50 IQ apes at the Washington Post are the most delusional Goebbel’s propagandists to ever infest the globe. If Hitler were still alive, the Washington Post simpletons would be on a cattlecar to Auschwitz.

High speed rail can’t falter soon enough as far as I am concerned.
