Obama was looking forward to spending the night at his house in Kenwood, on the city’s South Side—the redbrick Georgian Revival pile that he and Michelle and their daughters left behind when they took up residence in the White House. He arrived fairly late, after 10:00 p.m., but then stayed up even later, intrigued by some old boxes that had belonged to his late mother, Ann Dunham.
Dunham had died seven years earlier, but Obama hadn’t sorted through all her things. Now, alone in his old house for just the third night since he’d become president, he started rummaging through the boxes, digging, digging, until suddenly he found it: a small, four-paneled paper booklet the world had never seen before. On the front was an ink drawing of Kapi‘olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital, in Honolulu. On the back was a picture of a Hawaiian queen. On one inside page were his name, his mother’s name, and his date of birth; on the other were his infant footprints.
The next morning, Marty Nesbitt came over to have breakfast with Obama. The CEO of an airport parking-lot company, Nesbitt was part of a tiny circle of Chicago friends on whom the president relied to keep him anchored in a reality outside the Washington funhouse. The two men had bonded playing pickup basketball two decades earlier; their relationship was still firmly rooted in sports, talking smack, and all around regular-guyness. Let’s pretend everything in the excerpt is true, and Obama found this birth document, was crowing with pleasure, showed the document to Plouffe, etc. If the doc showed a different daddy, or no known daddy, or other factual inconsistencies with his birth narrative, Obama would know it was unusable. If unusable, he would not be crowing about finding it, or showing it to his cronies. If usable, he would have published it to the world. Ergo, the whole story is a lie.
The excerpt cuts off without addressing the critical question: “What didn’t Obama release this find immediately and crush his foes?” I know the whole story is bs, but how does the book dance around this?
Just to clarify: your position is that Stanley Ann Dunham was not Barack Obama’s biological mother?
Since he became President in 2009 (elected in '08), seven years earlier would be 2001 or 2002 depending on your reference, rather than 2004/5. Still off, though.
These is no proof of who his parents are, mother or father.

We do not have any proof of who his parents are! A lot of people look at frank Marshall Davis as the father. He was a “friend” of the family, maybe too good of a friend to the “grandmother.” Look, I can’t tell you who his parents are and neither can you tell me. It is all supposition.

He described how he went through his mother’s belongings and after finding his birth certificate pondered on the meaning of it.
He tells the tale in “Dreams of My Father” page 222.
Stanley could have adopted him while visiting east Africa. Or Stanley’s father could have fathered Barry with his trysts with black prostitutes (”American Thinker’s” theory).

When a Court orders a record to be sealed, it must remain sealed and cannot be used in any Court or administrative proceeding for any reason. Some states, including Hawaii, permit adoptees to obtain a copy of their sealed original BC for historical reference only. It would be a violation of a Court order to present it in an administrative proceeding to prove Obama was born in Hawaii.
Obama needs to provide more details about Barry Soetoro, Indonesian national, born in Honolulu, HI.

It has been filed in court cases with depositions under threat of perjury. Why is it ignored? I can find no reason to PROVE it false.
No hospital in Hawaii has a record of Obama being born there. He is a complete FRAUD.

Yes, I picked up on that. Stanley Ann Dunham died in Honolulu in November 1995. Her obit appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser about a week later. So these hacks can't even do accurate arithmetic, let alone accurate reporting.
That excerpt from their book is totally concocted out of thin air. If Obama really knew that he was born in Hawaii and wanted to dismiss the claims of "birthers," all he would have had to do is to contact the Hawaii Dept. of Health for a copy of his long form BC, paid a small fee, and they would have sent him a bona fide copy of the true document. As it was, a totally bogus electronic document was placed on the White House web site.
This "Look what I found" story by Halperin and Helilemann is as fraudulent as the that electronic document alleged to be his true BC. Halperin and Heilemann have concocted another old wives' tale to cover up for Obama's compulsive lying and cheating. To call themselves "reporters" is an insult to their profession.
HI state registrar Alvin Onaka effectively confirmed that there is no legally-valid BC for Obama in Hawaii. He has obviously been using a BC from SOMEWHERE, all these years. If it wasn’t from Hawaii, where WAS it from? That is the question we need an answer to.
There is a reason his passport had to be sanitized. There is a reason Neil Abercrombie told Mike Evans there was no BC for Obama in Hawaii. There is a reason the HDOH forged Virginia Sunahara’s death certificate and altered the BC#’s for Stig Waidelich, Virginia Sunahara, and Johanna Ah Nee. There is a reason that the HDOH started to claim they would not issue certified copies of long-forms EVEN AS VIDEO FOOTAGE WAS TAKEN OF THEM DOING JUST THAT, in a routine request at the HDOH office.
That reason was made clear by Alvin Onaka’s legal response to AZ SOS Ken Bennett’s request for a letter of verification for Obama: There is no legally valid BC for Obama in Hawaii.
I wonder what the NSA has on Halperin and Helilemann...
Maybe somebody needs to do some investigative reporting on the reporters...
