Does McAuliffe's narrow victory mean Virginians are anti-gun?
Small Government Times ^ | 2013-11-07 | Steve Adcock

Anti-gunners across the nation are reveling in the victory of Terry McAuliffe in the hotly-contested Virginia Governor’s race with claims that McAuliffe’s “F” rating by the National Rifle Association indicates the American people are rejecting the so-called gun agenda.

But in reality, the McAuliffe victory proves once again the powerful roll that money plays in political elections in our fair nation. McAuliffe was expected to easily win the election, but ended up barely squeaking out a victory on election night despite dramatically outspending his opponent.

In the days leading up to the Virginia election, McAuliffe outspent Republican challenger Ken Cuccinelli $705 to $285k. The Governor-elect also enjoyed support from Michael Bloomberg’s well-funded anti-gun group to the tune of $346,000. Further, a rich Texas Democrat funded a professional signature-collection effort to get Libertarian Robert Sarvis on the ballot in the hopes of taking away votes that would otherwise have been placed for the Republican.

It means massive voter fraud was in play in VA.

All this means is that the majority of Virginia voters have become as moronic as the majority of voters in the rest of the US.........

No, it means that Virginia has a lot of government employees and a lot of stupid people, (those categories overlap).

It’s uncool to vote Republican. I have talked to Democrat voters who are pro life and pro second amendment. They kid themselves that their candidate isn’t bad on those issues.

It requires cognitive dissonance to be a Democrat. Apparently, there’s a lot of it going around in America.

Plus more than half the voters voted for someone else.

The con man has a GOP controlled VA congress to deal with. He’s there to launder money for Cankles & Co.

Not at all... The House of Delegates saw a move to the right with the election of several new conservatives. Virginians are not getting anti-gun. They’ll prove it the first time Fast Terry tries broaching that subject.

It means that the urban “hive people” outvoted, or outfrauded, the rural self-reliant people.

No, it means that VA has enough Big Government parasites living in Fairfax Co. to rule VA until the entire system collapses, and they begin starving to death.

That may take twenty years, so people with an ounce of sense and some money left in the bank better make their break out of the state pronto.

I think gov’t employees is the answer, they don’t feel the pain of Obamacare and they’re self-centered enough to only care about the shutdown. Most Americans live paycheck to paycheck so that was a big deal to them even if it was only temporary and they were later reimbursed.

“It means massive voter fraud was in play in VA.”

I doubt it. If large-scale voter fraud were at play, AG candidate Mark Obenshain would’ve fallen hopelessly behind in the count by now. He’s leading by 681. Reps from both parties closely watch the ballot processing and will be observing like eagles during the recount.

Not to say some voter fraud might occur.. but we’re not talking Philly
Or Chicago here.

Looks like somehow the commies won’t be able to steal the attorney general office...we’ll see. They know the AG office is their key to looting the VA state treasury. We should have a standing thread on scams being perpetrated on VA taxpayers, of which I am unfortunately one of for now!

All the more reason to suspect voter/election fraud.

It is not logical for voters to vote for a conservative for AG and a raving liberal for governor. The two votes should be virtually equal.

Republican SoS (technically SoC)
Republican AG

If there is “massive vote fraud” you can’t blame Soros.
