Southern California Congressman Darrell Issa is rumored to be cooking up his own immigration reform proposal. It’s reportedly designed to find some middle ground in the contentious debate over providing legal status to the more than 11 million immigrants in the country illegally.

The details of Issa’s plan for immigration reform are still scarce, and his office didn’t respond to numerous requests for an interview. But the plan would reportedly include a six-year period of temporary relief from deportation for undocumented immigrants.
During that time, they would be expected to find a legal way to stay here or leave.
Issa told Politico it's "halfway between full amnesty and simply rejecting people."

I wonder how many illegals Issa has working on his property back home in Vista, CA.
And if they don't? Well I guess we will need another law, since the new law we didn't enforce, like the old law, is broken. Sheesh, these guys make stupid look like a virtue.

I, too, am waiting for Issa to get SERIOUS about the illegal crap he’s “investigating.”
My guess is that, because he’s from Mexifornia, his district is LOADED with illegals the dumbocraps will haul to the polls in 2014 in an effort to unseat him.
He can’t do SQUAT unless he’s still in office.
Amnesty would be to let the illegal aliens return to their home country and take their children with them.
I don’t want to give them something better than amnesty. It is wrong to pay the Dane-geld, and wrong to provide incentives for illegal activity.

You mean like we’re doing now? Or like we were doing when Bush and Reagan were President? It’s clear as long as the enforcement of federal law is in the hands of a single person we’re never going to see this fixed. Might as well try to find a solution that’s better than dumb, deaf and blind.
