As thousands of consumers receive health insurance cancellation notices, President Obama is continuing to fine tune his promise that Americans who like their health plans would be able to them under his signature health care law.
The president told about 200 of his campaign supporters and health care activists Monday that the administration had promised Americans they could keep their current coverage -- as long as their plans hadn’t changed since ObamaCare was signed into law.
"If you have or had one of these plans before the Affordable Care Act came into law and you really liked that plan, what we said was you could keep it if it hasn't changed since the law's passed," Obama said. "So we wrote into the Affordable Care Act you are grandfathered in on that plan. But if the insurance company changes it, then what we're saying is they have got to change it to a higher standard. They've got to make it better."

On O’Reilly last night, one of the White House slugs said that the GOP should vote for Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-LA) bill that would grandfather in all the plans. No one asked him why she voted against Sen. Enzi’s (R-WY) bill that would have done that in July 2010. O’Reilly didn’t do his homework.
So... they pass a law saying insurance companies had to make changes to meet ACA standards, then tell you that you can’t keep your plan, because it changed...

Notice he says 'they have to'. Nothing about what we are forced to do, pay more.
And on top of that, any increase in premiums or co-pays, even to keep pace with inflation, is deemed a "change" that loses "grandfather" status. And this isn't a law, it's an HHS regulation made specifically to overturn the law as specified in the ACA.

“No one will take them away. No matter what.”
Everyone needs to be constantly reminded of these words of HIS. No give-me-backs.
Barry doesn’t have a truth problem, he simply has a punctuation problem. Instead if saying “period” he really meant “asterisk”. Then, after the speeches (and being caught), he added the nuanced footnotes at the asterisks. What’s wrong with you people?
