President Obama was extremely lucky to have such a weak Republican candidate as Mitt Romney in opposition to him during the 2012 presidential election campaign, according to former President Bill Clinton in a new book Double Down: Game Change 2012, by journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann.

There’s nothing black about my world.
No mention of the voter fraud, ya think?
And Bob Dole was tough to beat?
Yeah I figured with 8% unemployment, $4 gas, surging food prices, and trillion dollar deficits to the horizon Caliph Baraq would be hard pressed to win again.
But I think we’ve passed the tipping point and the power of entitlements gives Dems a lock on national elections until the economic collapse comes.
Dog is too nice a word to apply to either Clinton, or Obama. Dogs are brave, loyal, and true.
I agree that the comment is funnier beyond mere words. However, I cannot shake the fact that I honestly believe all the Democrat males of his constituency wholeheartedly endorse the concept.
Thanks to the mental midgets of the Republican Party, such as the party leaders on both coasts who haven’t a GOP win their own states since Pres. Reagan ran against their squishy “moderate” candidates, the Democrats could re-elect this flaming Marxist. Way to go, Karl Rove, you loser.
Bill Clinton, ever the “classy” president! And by comparison to his “wife,” he’s the “decent” one.
I hope every state passes voter ID laws. They would be sunk.
“”Bill Clinton: Obama is Luckier than a Dog....”””
Pretty funny coming from a guy who won the office with 42% of the vote.
Agreed. No question Romney was a horribly weak candidate but with so many people on the national gravy train the Democrats do have the upper hand in national elections. Too bad it’s going to take a complete economic collapse for everyone to see how wrongheaded liberal policies have been and at that point you’ll still have the media and millions of knuckleheads blaming the GOP and “big business” for it.
Now he can be equally compared to a Dung Beetle.
President Clinton is right. Of all the people to nominate, we had to pick a squishy moderate. Obamacare was the biggest issue then as now, and we had to pick the creator of Romneycare to represent us.
The GOPe moderates don’t appear to grasp that you can’t encourage enough Republicans to hold their noses and vote for Democrats in all but party affiliation, aka Romney. It’s also not enough, apparently, to frighten Republicans by pointing at the Democrat nominee, even Obama. Yeah, you’ll have the diehards who will drag themselves to the polls no matter what, but that’s no way to win elections.
You’d think the moderates would catch on after two lost elections, but they keep prescribing the same solutions.
If he were my dog he would have training (shock) collar on and be zapped every time he tells a lie or takes a Krap on the Constitution with an EO.
An economic collapse was always part of the plan. Widespread chaos and violence will have the sheeple begging for a dictator to “save” them. See Alinsky and Cloward-Piven.
maybe camels are luckier than dogs?
