The angels will not be allowed to hark their herald nor will the little Lord Jesus sleep on the hay after a New Jersey school district announced a ban on all religious Christmas music.
Constance Bauer, the superintendent of the Bordentown Regional School District, posted a message online stating someone had been questioning recent musical selections for the elementary school Christmas concerts.
Pardon me, the school district calls them winter concerts.
My guess is that a perpetually offended left-winger became unglued when they heard that little boys and girls might be pa rum pum pum pum.
Religious music should not be part of the elementary program(s), Supt. Scrooge wrote in her anti-Christmas screed.

One Christmas song should be okay with liberals.
The song about “gay apparel” should be a fabulous song to sing.
Not for Hallmark cards.
What would the Infant Jesus be saying to them?
Local authorities essentially have the 10th Amendment protected power to authorize religious Christmas music in pubic schools. The problem is that since the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers are no longer being taught, if they ever were, citizens do not understand that the 1st Amendment’s prohibition on federal government power to regulate religion does not apply to the states.
Note that state power to regulate religion is now limited by the 14th Amendment.
The Gov. is pro Islam ?
Government school is child abuse.
Fine.
If I were her boss I’d tell her to report her sorry **^^ to work the whole month of December. No days off.
No Christmas...no days off.
I suppose it is a small concession that at least schools admit that Christmas and Christ are somehow linked. I hated it more when “Christmas pageants” were presented with the Christian message removed and the word Christmas somehow meant a message solely of holiday goodwill and cheer, UN style.
then there should not be a program
no reason for the season = no season
When I was in school we read passages from the King James Bible, said the Lord’s Prayer, saluted the flag, and sang religious Christmas and Thanksgiving songs.
Drug problems were rare, violence was minimal and society was a safer place to live.
This crap has to stop.
I know of a restaurant that once was open on Christmas Day and later the one waitress who came in to work complained to the boss about being forced to work on Christmas.
"But Rachel," he replied. "You're Jewish. It should be just any other day for you."
I must admit I laughed out loud when I heard that one.
Those who do evil hate the light.
I wish I was, too. It’s always good for people like this to be informed that other people know where they live. Not that we need to do anything about that, it’s just nice to let their guilty conscience and their imagination do the rest.

“For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
