Local authorities essentially have the 10th Amendment protected power to authorize religious Christmas music in pubic schools. The problem is that since the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers are no longer being taught, if they ever were, citizens do not understand that the 1st Amendment’s prohibition on federal government power to regulate religion does not apply to the states.
Note that state power to regulate religion is now limited by the 14th Amendment.
The Gov. is pro Islam ?
Government school is child abuse.
Fine.
If I were her boss I’d tell her to report her sorry **^^ to work the whole month of December. No days off.
No Christmas...no days off.
I suppose it is a small concession that at least schools admit that Christmas and Christ are somehow linked. I hated it more when “Christmas pageants” were presented with the Christian message removed and the word Christmas somehow meant a message solely of holiday goodwill and cheer, UN style.
then there should not be a program
no reason for the season = no season
When I was in school we read passages from the King James Bible, said the Lord’s Prayer, saluted the flag, and sang religious Christmas and Thanksgiving songs.
Drug problems were rare, violence was minimal and society was a safer place to live.
This crap has to stop.
Those who do evil hate the light.
“For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
~Philippians 2:9,10, 11
Political correctness, you know ....
The real goal is to eliminate the Christian/Jewish foundation of this country’s culture.
“The angels will not be allowed to hark their herald ...”
That sentence makes no sense.
But then neither does removing all religious references from a religious holiday.
It should be enough for the parents in the district to complain and take action.
saw this on o’reilly....it’s a shame......but most school districts went pagan 30 years ago....
