Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will be making his first late-night appearance
on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno"
when he visits on Friday, Nov. 8.
The show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT weeknights, but
it generally tapes at 4:30pm (Pacific Time),
and takes approximately one hour.
You CANNOT arrive later than 3:15 pm, however,
and even be considered for entrance.
So, use discretion about YOUR actual arrival time,
but getting there EARLY is always BETTER.
Any REALLY "hard core" FReepers can join us
as we arive there before dawn. ;)
Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the “out-of-topic” PING, SunkenCiv!

Well that explains the LAX shooter today.
Look....a squirrel and a traffic jam and SWAT teams and chaos. Always take advantage of a crisis per Obama and his team.

Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.Hargitay will have her hands imprinted on Hollywood Boulevard in a special ceremony on November 8. Law & Order creator Dick Wolf and close friend Hilary Swank will present the Emmy nominee with the award.
Mariska Hargitays star will be placed next to her late mothers, actress Jayne Mansfield. (!)
The elder Mansfield, who died in a car accident on June 29, 1967, received her star on February 8, 1960. The 49-year-old has been playing Detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU for 15 seasons. The fate of her character was left hanging in the air during the season 14 finale, which found Liv staring down the barrel of a gun before the screen faded to black.
Hargitay was still in contract negotiations when the series was renewed for its 15th season in April, which left fans wondering if she would survive the encounter. While the financial terms of Hargitays deal havent been disclosed, she was making $500,000 per episode last season, making her the highest-paid actress on television. (!)
;)
Wish I could be there :) I used to enjoy seeing her on Law and Order. I recall hearing her say in an interview that the S in Mariska is pronounced like SH.

Gavin DeGraw is anything but a one-genre guy.Turn on his latest full-length, 2011s Sweeter, and youll get hit with a plethora of styles: sultry soul, alternative rock, bluesy R&B.
Even with those fluctuating sounds, Sweeter manages to flow easily and warmly, delivering deep sonic textures, strong hooks in the melodies and an awareness of the origins of blues and rock that dont forgo the new to pay respect to the past.
DeGraw was "sweet" enough to chat with Gibson.com about his current single, "Not Over You," which is #1 on the Hot AC radio chart right now, and explained why he believes the key to great songwriting is "being aware of your surroundings."

Listening to the album, I feel it has a funkier, more soulful vibe than your past ones. Would you agree?
Yes, I would!
I think that some of our live performances have always had elements leaning towards that style of music, but we hadnt really recorded it or captured it on an album until now. On the records, I had never embraced that vibe and featured that element, and I think that more than a few songs on this album really embrace it.
In particular, "Radiation," "Sweeter" and "Not Over You" bring more of that rhythm. Its a good blend of sexuality and masculinity...
:)
Please put me on the Ted Cruz Ping List.
Wow! I see the resemblance.
See You There!!
See You There!!EXCELLENT, Loud Mime!
Done!
I want to attend and I live in So. Cal. Can I get more info.
Thanks!
