George Zimmerman’s wife says he left bullet-riddled bullseye as threat

George Zimmerman’s ugly divorce took a disturbing twist Wednesday when his estranged wife said he nailed a bullet-riddled bullseye to a wall of her parents’ house.

Shellie Zimmerman turned the marksman’s alleged target over to cops in Lake Mary, Fla., complaining it was a menacing message for her from the 30-year-old former neighborhood watchman acquitted of murdering teenager Trayvon Martin.

Photos of the bullseye with 17 bullet holes in it surfaced Wednesday on RadarOnline.

One picture showed the target nailed to a cream-colored wall of the in-law’s house in the Orlando suburb of Lake Mary.

“This is the photo that Shellie sent to her lawyer and said, ‘Look at the subliminal message George left me,’” a source familiar with the battling couple to the gossip website.

“What else could a bullet-riddle marksman’s target mean?”(continued)

Got that guys? If you leave an old target around where your estranged wife can see it or forget to take it with you when you leave her parent's digs, you're threatening her life and the police will be paying you a visit.

Can anyone here remember one single private individual, not a politician or celebrity, but a regular person, being hounded like this since Alfred Dreyfus?

Divorce is an ugly business. Men hide money, cancel credit, etc. Some women can get really nasty.

It is very difficult for me to believe that after having gone through the tribulation of his trial that Zimmerman would be so stupid to leave something like that as a threat.

“What else could a bullet-riddle marksman’s target mean?”

Just a sense of pride and accomplishment?

Nothing personal.

Didn’t this woman already get caught lying to the police about an incident with George?

If you ask me, she has no credibility.

Does anybody know if she has a life insurance policy on him?

Seems to me that she wants him dead.

I would be willing to bet you that her lawyer (and she) will end up ensuring that part of the divorce agreement includes half of any and all proceeds from a book, movie, TV show, interviews, publicity deals that he may make.

I don’t think he’s that stupid. His wife might be. And all it takes is one slip-up with the cops and a sworn statement turning up false...to get you an invitation to visit the local district attorney.

This whining woman is a vindictive basket case. There is no law against bullet holes in targets....yet.

Unless they can go to a range where they can verify he made that exact paper I instead tend to believe the soon to be ex probably had that made and set herself.

She already got caught lying to police I believe regarding George with a gun waving it at her or some such story. He had a girlfriend witness in the car which screwed that up.

She also claimed George beat her father who had no marks on him before if I read that and other stuff correctly.

IMO she is a trouble maker trying to get a pay day off of getting George in more hot water. There are plenty willing to pay her if she can do it IMO.

What proof does the wife have that it was pinned up by George?

Divorces can be ugly. Lawyers tell their clients to do just about anything. Women often claim that they are in fear of their lives but they won’t leave their house because their lawyer told them not to. If I was truly in fear of my life I would be gone. I don’t believe this story. It’s one of those things that is easy to claim and hard to prove false.

I go to the range all the time. I keep the targets I use because I track my individual pistol/revolver’s performance after things like adjusting sights, using different ammo, etc. I have a couple hundred of these targets stacked up in the basement.

I guess what this tells me is that I probably ought to throw these away now.

I have a theory that George’s estranged wife has been possessed by Trayvon Martin.

With all the nasty brouhaha that has been going on, I wouldn't know if George or someone else had nailed the target there. I mean George shouldn't be excused if he is raging at his wife, if. But she doesn't sound like she is interested in reconciling either.

I see evil afoot in recent events trying with a new intensity to put down the people who have given their hearts to God. (And if the way Zimmerman says he carried on is the way he did, I give excellent odds he's sincerely Christian.) Now in God's larger plan, God allows such things for a reason. God's people have gotten flaccid in faith and need to tone their spiritual muscles again. And such fights are the way God arranges for that to happen.

Actual Christians need to get tough, not narrowly self defending tough, but tough in the name and mission of the Lord which is that all would, if willing, come to repentance (turning back to God to be forgiven and saved from sin, which is enmity towards God). There is a whole world God loves. It needs to hear the gospel. It needs to see the gospel. It doesn't need more human morality no matter how loftily formulated. It needs divine morality which consists of love to God and all the manifestations thereof.

I’ve joined a 12 step Zimmerman posting recovery program. Step 1. Never mention the name George Zim...(Oh, cr*p!)

It is one thing if you save them where ever.

It is another thing if you have an ex where they are stored and she can take one of them, staple it to her front door and claim it is a current threat from you.
