Dem Rep. Jumps Out of Chair, Explodes at GOP’ers During Obamacare Hearing

Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) rose from his seat on Tuesday during a congressional hearing into the Affordable Care Act’s problematic roll-out. He accused his Republican colleagues in the House of dishonestly seeking to identify the problems with the ACA because they would prefer to see it repealed entirely.

Pascrell began by insisting that, even though Democrats opposed Medicare Part D in the Bush Era, they worked to make sure that the program was a success.

He became animated as he said that Democrats put aside their opposition to Bush in order to make a policy objective work for the good of the American public. “And how many of you stood up to do that,” Pascrell said exploding out of his chair. “None. Zero.”

“What are you going to do about the approximately 17 million children with preexisting conditions who can no longer be denied health insurance coverage,” Pascrell asked his Republican colleagues. “We want to go back and want to say you are no longer covered any longer. Are you going to tell the parents of those kids?”

Nobody dies in this country due to a lack of insurance.

DO NOT get cocky. IF (when) Obamacare goes down they come back fighting like demons for Single Payer. We had better be ready.

I wonder if he has the same passion concerning the REAL deaths of four Americans in Benghazi due to Democrat negligence.

Pure theater for the low info types. Pascrell’s street act will work. Like a charm. Unless the Repubs start barking back. Good and loud. Or do they even want to? From what I've seen so far, they don't. In the lineup tomorrow, Kathleen “She-Wolf of the HSS” Sebelius. She's coming out swinging. If the Repubs let her get away with another “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!” moment, it's all over.

LOL, yeah they wanted it bigger and without any income caps.

“Nobody dies in this country due to a lack of insurance.”

Exactly!

Go check out the emergency rooms where many uninsured like to go instead of the doctor’s office, less wait time and no co-pay.

And don’t get me started about paying 50 cents - $1 for their prescriptions. You would think you asked them to fund your vacation instead of paying a tiny portion of their own medication!

Made bad choices?? What if it wasn’t HER fault? What if she was married and her husband was killed or died suddenly through no fault of his own? Is THAT a “poor life choice”????

So this woman’s supposed to work two jobs?

He accused his Republican colleagues in the House of dishonestly seeking to identify the problems with the ACA because they would prefer to see it repealed entirely.

Democrats like Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) are mindlessly defending Obamacare. Even today few have read the law, one documented example is Mark Warner, Democrat, Virginia. The Democrats know that the passage of the Affordable Care Act was contentious and characterized by coercion, bribes, threats, and promises to many Democrats. Few, if any, read or fully understood what was in the law. Now, as Pelosi, says it is opening like a flower so we can all see how the economy and health industry are being destroyed. President Obama himself has unilaterally delayed portions of the bill.

The Main Stream Media have their heads in the sand. Administration officials are tight lipped about its problems. Problems the administration has had three years to solve.

The MSM has failed to tally the damage to jobs, citizens, and the economy produced by an unworkable, unfair, and ineffective law. The MSM has failed to identify the scores of Democrats would like the law gone. The MSM are being exposed again as nothing but a Democrat propaganda machine.

Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) maybe should take a time out to read the law and connect the dots between its complexity, unfairness, and negative impact on health care for all of us. But that would entail the use of common sense instead of the blame game, character assassination, and name calling.

Is this “Monkey Court” guy?

Though he does have a point. They were all to eager to support George W’s massive expansion of the government.

Years ago when I was in my 20s I needed a hospital stay and had no insurance. What the billing department did was helped me to apply for medicaid which was expected to be denied but it gave the hospital cover to write my treatment off on their taxes.

Sounds like he's still in the "denial phase" re: the death of Obamacare.

He's jumping to stage 2: Anger.

Most of the Dems are still in denial and are saying that Obamacare is fine, the website is working and everyone can keep their policies if they like them. I guess denial is just fancy psychologist talk for lying.

Medicare part D isn’t mandatory and only covers generic drugs for the most part and involves more paperwork, HOWEVER....
Comparing the monstrosity of ACA to Medicare part D is a REAL JOKE. Democrats like this Rep. have got to be low on brain cells.

Another re-occurring theme in that circus (and it WAS a circus) was how the republicans were opposed to ACA simply because they were republicans, and without acknowledging that those republicans were representing their constituents desires. By demeaning the republicans, they demeaned the very people the republicans represented! I found that offensive, because it tells me that the ‘rats don’t give a hoot what the people want.

The show was a circus because the woman in charge didn’t have her ducks in a row and should have. She really didn’t have much to offer by way of information or explanation except to tote the party line with an inaccurate sales pitch.

She claimed the website issues had to do with the application process itself, and that a person most certainly COULD shop without making an application, but doing so would affect the actual price quotes because your particular circumstances couldn’t be factored in. However, individuals whom I’ve spoken to in real life found it impossible to shop without having to put their personal information out there. The senators said that their constituents were claiming the same sort of problem. Therefore, I found the woman’s testimony to be less than credible and factual, as well as ill prepared and incomplete.

But then again, maybe she’s going to let the former Kansas murder lover answer the hard questions. We’ll see.

“I wonder if he has the same passion concerning the REAL deaths of four Americans in Benghazi due to Democrat negligence”.

Ahhh, that would be a big NO!

Fact is that they WALKED OUT on the parents of Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods in the Hearing. That's how despicable they are.

“What the billing department did was helped me to apply for medicaid which was expected to be denied but it gave the hospital cover to write my treatment off on their taxes.”

No, it gave the hospital a reason to charge more for the patients who PAY. I used to do billing for doctors and hospitals. Why do you think aspirins cost $15/or more each? If the people who pay were charged only for their own hospital bill it wouldn't cost so much. They are paying for the people who don't have insurance and don't pay.
