Covered California executive director Peter Lee told the Chronicle editorial board that he expects 800,000 to 900,000 people to lose their non-grandfathered private insurance policies on Dec. 31, thanks to the Affordable Care Act. (This figure which is higher than past numbers reported does not include small business coverage.) The individual market is changing dramatically, Lee said.
What about President Obamas promise that if people liked their plan, they could keep it? I think it was not well stated, Lee answered. Obamas rhetoric may have been an inarticulate way of describing what the realities are.
How many will pay higher premiums under Covered California plans? How many will pay less? Lee said he does not know, but some individuals will pay more.

Even some Californians will feeel the pain. Good thing they have medicinal marijuuuuaaannnaa to ease it..
Hey—it’s not his fault. He didn’t know anything and doesn’t know who did although whover did is likely to get a BIG promotion.
Lee says you don’t lose a plan per se, it just expires.. and then you can enroll for a new one thru CoveredCA.
What will happen first ?
0bama speaks to the public about this “broken promise” ?

Prior to 0bamacare, over 80% of Americans were satisfied with their health care. What's the percentage now?
Democrats F**K UP EVERYTHING!

How about a large break.

The new spin on the Blog sites is this: Republicans fought for and voted in this “RomneyCare” and now it’s failing. It’s all the republicans fault. And hey, I just got an email from Debbie Wasserman Schultz that says the same thing. They are already spinning this out of control. I have a LW friend who just posted on her FB that all those “Evil Cons” are ruining the website and making those evil insurance companies cancel policies. OMG. the spin is out of control! The worse Obamacare gets, the more the LW is blaming us “Evil Cons” just because we breathe and live! What has this world come to? Next thing you know they will blame plagues and pestilence on us. wait, isn’t that prophetic?
But just TRY to force 14,000,000 people on welfare to do a job to earn their money and we're starving children killing old people!! I'd be happy to trade 14,000,000 new insurance policies for 14,000,000 off the dole any day!!
I’m an IT contractor and my wife works at a university. We get our health care coverage from her job. She put in her two months notice that she is quitting at the end of the year. We will have no health care insurance nor will we attempt to acquire any. We’re 60 and if something really bad happens, well, that “pre-existing condition” thingee will allow us to get insurance AFTER we find out we need millions of dollars of treatment. ;)
Meanwhile, we’ll pay for the small stuff out of pocket.
We’re the “young invincibles”. Yeah, baby!

Good fun!
Inarticulate? How is that possible from the most articulate president since John Kennedy?
You took those words right out of my keyboard.
