Yeah, and you’d be OK if the cop shot him as he reached for his wallet, he coulda been reaching for a gun.
The cop feared for his safety, and that makes it a righteous shoot.
The only important thing is that the cop gets to go home to his wife and kiddies.

Theyre looking for an armed killer involved in a shootout that wounded several others ..... I can understand sticking a gun in this guys face if hes refusing to answer questions &/or show the cop his ID.
That is ludicrous.
Is the threat of immediate deadly force warranted to compel respect and/or ID production?
The driver of that car does not bear even a passing resemblance to the suspect being sought.
Perhaps the citizenry should use equal measures to compel officers of the State to display respect for Constitutionally-guaranteed rights. What say you?

What we see in this picture, however, is revolting. To some of us. Others, well... hell, people elected Hitler to Chancellor, I suppose, and went along with Pol Pot, and supported the King of England in America. There's always a few.

Don't bother. He's lost. All I have to say to that one is "We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!" -- Samuel Adams.

I thought he (Hitler) won one election? Am I wrong there? Let me go check.

It appears to me his finger is not on the trigger but in the usual safety position. The clinton apologists said exactly the same thing when Elán Gonzales (the only illegal alien clinton hated) was forcibly deported to Communist Cuba.

Hitler was appointed Chancellor, even though the Nazis didn’t fare well in the election, by Von Papen who did it to spite his rival Von Schleicher. They thought Hitler could be controlled. The Nazis actually lost seats in the following election, which were to be the last free elections until the end of the war.

“Low-ready is fine.”
Okay, I’ll take low-ready, but I would expect the rifle or a handgun to be out and ready in that situation.

The lard butt on the other side of the vehicle is in danger as well, should the cop cut loose (Im sure he has selected full auto). I have seen this often with law enforcement officers, suspect literally surrounded and all pointing their weapons or cop on either side pointing weapons with suspect in the middle.Excellent point. Didn't consider that, so outraged was I with the actual situation in the foreground.

Again,,,this a roadblock. Theyre looking for an armed killer involved in a shootout that wounded several others.
“The driver of that car does not bear even a passing resemblance to the suspect being sought.”
And what if he’s an accomplice? What if he’s hiding the killer in his car?

Just a continuation, with slight modifications of course, of the tactics they used in Boston where they went door to door.
I posted this as soon as I scrolled to post 1, but I will be willing to ben that not far down the line someone will post a message to the effect of how brave the officers were that confronted the driver of the vehicle pictured.

RULE # 1: NEVER point a firearm at anything you are NOT going to shoot!
Having the muzzle in the general direction is fine, never aim at a person unless you are going to shoot them. That is a criminal offense.

Sure! Then we agree! Low-ready would have been the American way, that is how we do this stuff -- even in Hostile Areas overseas.
THIS, however, is OUTRAGEOUS.
