Again,,,this a roadblock. Theyre looking for an armed killer involved in a shootout that wounded several others.
“The driver of that car does not bear even a passing resemblance to the suspect being sought.”
And what if he’s an accomplice? What if he’s hiding the killer in his car?

No one is arguing that the circumstances were casual. Nor that a roadblock in itself is not warranted.

That's the risk you take when you enter law enforcement. If you can't handle that situation with less aggressive force than our soldiers in an active war zone you should not be involved in policing the citizenry.
You should be at home, playing Call of Duty.

And what if hes an accomplice? What if hes hiding the killer in his car?Put yourself behind the wheel of that car. You are driving home from Burger King with your Big Whopper, extra ketchup, pickles, onions, medium Pepsi and a super-sized order of fries. Now you have a jackboot with a tactical weapon pointed at your gullet. How do you feel?

And what if hes an accomplice? What if hes hiding the killer in his car? ...And again, the driver has two hands on the wheel, stopped with the window down. Rifle out and in the low-ready position is fine. But he has a rifle pointed in the motorists face. Not fine.
