The Food and Drug Administration is recommending new restrictions on prescription medicines containing hydrocodone, the highly addictive painkiller that has grown into the most widely prescribed drug in the U.S.
In a major policy shift, the agency said in an online notice Thursday that hydrocodone-containing drugs should be subject to the same restrictions as other narcotic drugs like oxycodone and morphine.

That’s not a real migraine. Had a no drug L&D and had migraines. I’ll take the baby.
Zomig is my DOC
I am glad Advil works for her. Triptitans r great also, they r not pain pills. Good idea on hiding your pain medicine, never know when u might need them, but that goes for any medicine.
I’m willing to understand the meaning of basic English words like “site”, before I try to tell others how to understand the Constitution.
> The liberals wont be happy until they micro-manage the smallest details of our daily existence.
Soon there will be a directive on how many times a day we can flush.
Sheryl Crow says it only takes one sheet of toilet paper to wipe her a$$ so you may not be far off the mark. They may try to regulate the number of sheets you use.
oh they have it figured out....CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only if one considers a fetus a mass of extraneous protoplasm.
AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have had enough...you??????
Again, ‘Who owns your body?’

I’ve never taken anything stronger than Advil and I have a very painful chronic disease. Being on the autism spectrum really helps at times. Pain doesn’t bother me at all.
Zomig is a miracle drug! Yes, I had a Csection, the pain afterward is nothing compared to a migraine...nothing! A migraine will bring me to my knees!
Well, the itching was worrisome. Been hospitalized for three days with A-shock due to an allergy to the antibiotic Cefzil. Odd, because I can take other cephalexins. Cefzyl must have some molecule hangin’ off the side that wants to kill me!
That’s the same question that abortion promoters ask, what’s your answer to them? Something utterly predictable and lame like “that’s different!” ?
And what’s your point? Do you think it’s realistic to expect Congress to dissolve FDA and order 57 states to create a massive FDA-like bureaucracy each to administer distribution of aspirin and cough syrup?
IOW, you don’t dispute the fact that you piss on the Constitution.
I piss on the illiterates!
The FDA is not a beneficial organization, regardless of their propaganda.

Interesting, I never thought about autism playing a role in pain management. I am very glad that u don’t have to take anything stronger than Advil. I wish that was the case for me. I spent about 5 years in my early 30’s researching and trying many, many different things to control my migraines. From acupuncture, to massage therapy, herbs, pain meds, etc...I finally have a great doctor who pretty much has them under control with minimal medicine.
There ya go!
My point being is that the FDA should only be involved in the safety of medications NOT their distribution or patient usage. I own my body and will manage myself what I administer. I don’t need nor want a POS bureaucrat informing me of what my particular needs may/may not be nor limitations on what I do to my own body.
