Obama Responsible for Over 1 Million People Losing their Health Insurance
Vanity | 10/26/2013 | Self

Posted on 10/26/2013 9:29:43 AM PDT by sr4402

Remember President Obama promising "You can keep your Health Insurance"? Well for over 1 million people that is no longer true, they have lost their health insurance directly because of Obamacare.

Over half a million in California were told their insurance was going away due to the Not-Affordable Health Care Act. Hundreds of thousand lost theirs in Florida as well. This is repeating over and over in the states. And the Media, wishing to promote Obamacare, is being forced to cover the losses.

Why aren't insurance companies continuing the coverage? It is simple, the Obamacare regulations have made it impossible to provide the low cost insurance most young folks prefer.

And it is the Young that are going to be pissed off!

If you've lost your health insurance due to Obamacare, please let the Democrats/Progressives/Liberals and RINOs know by voting for SOMEONE ELSE!

We’re hearing their retorts now…expect this drumbeat to swell in the coming weeks.
A) If the evil Republicans had not thwarted His Emminence’s plans, all would be well.
B) But the evil Republicans DID thwart His efforts, so clearly we need fully nationalized health care with no private doctors, no private insurance companies, and no private markets. Single-Payer NOW!

Yes, but I have also heard that far more are losing their Health Insurance that are gaining it. Thus the number of uninsured Americans is growing by leaps and bounds.

The ObozoScare site seems to be working fine for previous Medicaid and new Medicaid patients. The ones who are the bottom feeders and will not have to pay for the plan.

Failure to log on seems to be happening with those who will have to pay for their care and the freebee scum bags.

“A good percentage of “Obamacare enrollees” are actually medicaid enrollees.” (both previous and new leeches, er enrollees)

We keep hearing about the success of enrollment in Washington and Oregon.

Well, in Washington and probably Oregon most of those successfully enrolled were current Medicare leeches and new enrollee leeches. They will be contributing Zero/Nada/0 bucks to fund their ObozoScare. It didn’t cost them a red cent to signup.

They will be taking money from those who work and have to pay for them, the ObozoScare Medicaid leech enrollees .

Below is a link to a Kaiser Permanente Newsletter which tells about the so called success in Washington re current Medicare Leeches and lack of those, who have to pay, signing up:

In Some States, Most Early Marketplace Enrollees Qualify For Medicaid
By Phil Galewitz October 22nd, 2013, 1:28 PM

In several states, most of the people enrolling through new online insurance marketplaces are signing on to Medicaid, the state-federal health insurance program for the poor.
The reason?

Many of the uninsured are poor, and applicants don’t have to pay anything to sign up for Medicaid. Shoppers applying for private health coverage through the marketplace have to pay their first monthly premium before they are fully enrolled. Their first payment must be made by Dec. 15 for coverage to take effect Jan. 1. Most are expected to be eligible for some tax credits, up front, to help pay the monthly premiums.

“We believe the reason we are seeing the higher Medicaid numbers is many people [buying private health plans] will wait until the last minute to pay for their health coverage like many of us do with our cell phone or cable bill,” said Bethany Frey, spokeswoman for the Washington state marketplace.

About 30,000 of the more than 35,000 people enrolled in the Washington exchange have signed up for Medicaid. Under the health law, in states that opt into the expansion, Medicaid eligibility is being expanded to cover everyone with annual incomes under 138 percent of the federal poverty level, or $15,800 in 2013.

About 20,000 of the people who qualified for Medicaid in Washington gained coverage through the expansion, while the rest were eligible under existing coverage rules. Many of those who were eligible but not enrolled have been signing up as a result of the publicity around the new marketplaces, officials say.

Frey said about 56,000 additional people have completed applications to enroll in private plans in Washington but have not yet made a payment so they were not included in the state’s tally.
About two-thirds of people enrolling through Kentucky’s marketplace also qualify for Medicaid, said spokeswoman Glenda Bond. “We expected Medicaid enrollment to be more robust at the beginning because people can enroll without making a payment,” she said.

Of the more than 3,700 enrollments in process in Minnesota’s marketplace, about 2,500 are for Medicaid. Only about 400 are people who are enrolling in a health plan. But a look at Minnesota applications in process shows that private insurance enrollees could overtake the number of Medicaid enrollees in the weeks ahead — of 11,600 applications in the marketplace last week, more than 8,000 were for exchange plans.

Several states relying on the problematic federal exchange, including West Virginia and South Carolina, have also seen a surge in people applying for Medicaid because they have separate websites for Medicaid enrollment, which unlike the federal exchange site, are working. Other states, such as California, have not yet released data about what programs people have enrolled in.

Clarification: This story has been updated to reflect the number of people who are in the process of enrolling in Minnesota.

If the Republicans were smart, they’d start a body count scoreboard of how many people have LOST their insurance under Obama/Obamacare.

How Many People COULDN’T Keep Their Doctor Because of Obama’s Obamacare: _______

ANd just start rolling with this.

See if Bush was doing the same thing, the media would already be doing the nightly tallies for the democrats (as they are their propaganda arm).

That's my feeling too. It is imperative that the dems as a group be hung with this travesty.

The Republicans need to start yelling about Ohomocare everyday and make sure that everyone in the country remembers how the democrat PARTY saddled us with this fiasco when November rolls around.

The problem is that they don’t care if obamacare is repealed, stopped or destroyed...no party could be as politically stupid as to not be taking advantage of this....there is just no way that is possible.”..so, all it tells me is they are just waiting to get in charge of themselves, so they’ll sit around with their thumbs up their ass and work on passing amnesty

Any party with the slightest bit of fight would have had 500 people on the Capitol with their insurance cancellation letters in hand last Monday when Obama was having his little rose garden ceremony, but where were they? They don’t want it fixed.

Worse yet, many people with chronic illnesses who purchased their insurance long before they were sick have lost their coverage because of Ubamacare, meaning they now have a pre-existing condition when they apply for their next policy.

Change!
