You paint a very good analogy of what's going on behind the scenes. And, there is a lot--in theory--that should be going on behind the scenes. Improving HealthCare.gov is more than just load-balancing some login screens on a website.

My only question is, do they really even care if any of that works? Do they want life-or-death situations such as you describe, with patients literally dying to even get registered for a healthcare plan?

The problem I have with guys like Bob Beckel who might show a “sliver of honesty”, is that there is no inclination to even slightly turn away from his party’s failure.

They really can’t admit that even though they intended good they caused harm,

because they hang their hope of salvation on those intents.

You asked me: "how come Progressive can give you a bid in about 30 seconds?"

Not sure the point you are trying to make here...... I am sure it is a good one though, can you elaborate?

the Republican establishment has announced its intentions and motivations as rarely before: they will not resist the fundamental transformation of the United States into the Democratic People's Republic of America. They believe they can thrive within that transformed nation, and that is their chief concern.

Precisely. And that is why they need to be our our primary targets. A GOP majority made up of these quislings is worthless. Do you doubt that? Just look at all the achievements the GOP FAILED to make while they controlled the House, Senate and WH!

my point is this:

(and you are nice to say you think it is a good one, maybe maybe not)

but a shopper for motorcycle or auto insurance can get on Pregressive’s web site, put in their driver license number, their zip code, vehicle id number and get a bid for auto insurance asap

what is the big diff?

a shopper for health ins on the bocare site should be able to put in birthdate, height weight, smoker drinker or not, health issues (asthma, high blood pressure, aids) and get a bid

That's a good question. I think perhaps they meant for the site to appear to work so they could keep the masses happy and placated just long enough to entrench the county so deep into this mess that we can't dig ourselves out.

But, we have been given a gift here (perhaps by a loving God, who is giving us a chance to save our nation...... after all so many of us are praying daily for Him to do so).

The powers that be can't hide what is happening as easily as they seem to be able to hide most truths from the masses. Let's use it. Let's Roll!!!!

They will be violent, like most leftists are. Throughout history, this has been the case. It will happen again.

They won't be so long as their new digital brownshirts can accomplish their goals with smear, lie, and innuendo (think: mean girls).

In fact, they have the A-list so totally sewn up, they'll try to provoke US to be violent, so they have reason to use the cops (think: Nancy Pelosi marching through tea-partiers with her big gavel).

Yldstrk, I see what you are saying now. And you are making an excellent point. The system worked before the government started messing with it. But ObamaCare provides a way for making the masses dependent on government to redistribute the wealth to buy votes and stay in power.

“No more go along to get along. We can’t coexist with these people.”

Exactly right. They have to be defeated and it won’t be easy; It will take decades.

Just finished reading “Decline of the American Republic” written in 1955. The author John T Flynn stated that the Dems “should now be known as the Socialist Democratic Party. This transformation is partly the result of the immense political advantage there is in these huge budgets of taxed and borrowed funds with which to buy the support of numerous [political] minorities. In the case of the Republican party, those who now control it have decided that they can be just as good socialists as the Democrats so long as they reject the label, and partly because in their reach for power they feel it is necessary to compete with the Democrats with gifts and a form of socialism in the market place for votes. . .The American government today [1955!) is radically different from the Republic and the economic system which existed [for its first 150 years]...we have gone through a political and economic revolution...These changes are in the internal organism of our political and economic system. The object of these changes has been to torture and even ignore the [Constitution]. ...made possible by a kind of political thuggery by which the sitting justices were driven from the Supreme Court to make room for [revolutionary or at least compliant political judges who] tortured and twisted the words of the [Constitution] to provide a spurious legal atmosphere in which this [socialist] movement could be carried out... But each new million dollars added to the debt and each new million dug out of the people by taxes brings the nation [toward the precipice]. ... No man can say where the fatal boundary is. But it is somewhere down the road [and we move toward it with great strides].”

God Bless Ted Cruz and that amorphous organization known as the Tea Party who are the true patriots for freedom and oppose the darkness of the new slavery. Sorry for the long response. rgds,

All that is true. I also suspect (know!) that know-nothing bureaucrats defined (cobbled) the original specs and continued to change/modify them as the project progressed. the so-called “glitches” are far more serious than that term denotes. Also, as an old programming pro, I find the term “computer problems” to be completely false. That implies hardware malfunctions and shifts the blame from the erroneous human generated code to an inanimate object. What we see with this mess is software specified by bureaucrats, code written by a foreign (Canadian) company of questionable repute, with specs modified continuously by know-nothings.

This is why I no longer call myself Pro-Life, though I am stridently opposed to abortion. After 40 years, it's long past time to admit the "soup kitchen" approach (i.e. we have to show compassion for the women) hasn't gotten us a damn thing.

Put the blame on the only person that can obtain the abortion, and all you hear is a cacophony of "what about the man" though no man has ever had the legal standing to compel, nor prevent, an abortion for the entire history of its legality in this country.

Republicans and Pro-lifers have both been in the business of ensuring the "loyal opposition" is ineffectual since Reagan left office.

The next conservative President? That is funny.

There will not be one until we fix the fraudulent election issue and the lying media.

You can take that to the bank.

We are being lied to on a grand scale. Until we the people accept this fact and are willing to do whatever we have to to change it, well......all of this is just noise.

Right.

The U.S. as we know it has been overthrown by Obama and his supporters.

Until someone in this country (we frogs, I guess) jumps out of the pot and starts a war to take it back, we will live in a state of tyranny.

This is why Obama and the Left call the Tea Party terrorists (i.e. the enemy). The Tea Party is the enemy of their tyrannical government. And this is why those in power (including the quislings in the GOP) hate Ted Cruz...he has the guts to stand up and lead us.

God bless the REAL United States of America and God bless those who will restore her to her former glory!

YES!!!! I pray He does again bless us. We all need to pray.

And many conservatives, some FReepers as well, need to stop being naive and wake the heck up as to what is happening.
It isn’t just “our side lost this time”. This is a full blown takeover of our government.

Liars lie, and we are very much being lied too.
