President Barack Obama helped a pregnant woman who began to faint during his speech about health care reforms today, joking 'That's what happens when I talk too long.'
Mr Obama reached out to catch prospective Affordable Care Act beneficiary Karmel Allison who was standing directly behind him as he discussed the glitches of the new healthcare website in the Rose Garden of the White House.
Around 25 minutes into the speech, Ms Allison became unsteady and started to lose consciousness. At that point, the President turned around and helped catch her before she actually fainted.
'I got you. You're OK,' Mr Obama told her. The woman was escorted away for medical assistance as the crowd applauded.

Obamaworship knocks the sense out of people. And not just this woman, but everyone involved in the spectacle. I mean come on, if she were that premium of a stage prop, she should have been sitting in a chair at the least. All involved were too clueless to know that, or were simply willing to brush the obvious aside. The woman herself should have had some sense about that. And that's not even supposing that they wanted to create an incident for the cameras.
Photo-ops ABOUT OBAMACARE trump real health care needs and accommodations. That sure says a lot about Obamacare and those who can't wait to dispense it, and none of it good.

Maybe she doesn’t have diabetes and the patch is for show and sympathy?

This is really hysterical. It is so obviously staged. He turns on cue and her eyes glaze as she sways right on cue. What a joke. Even the guy directly behind Obama, and to the right, has a smile on his face as he appears see the signal for Obama to turn around just as the prez sees it himself. Even the “swooning” girl seems to read it as she and the friend to her left exchange a quick and knowing smile. ROFL
Where was the idiot in chief yesterday when I finished my Half Marathon and started to wander aimlessly for about a minute? Yes, I was still conscious, but I was probably flirting with something resembling unconscious for a bit there.
Of course, if the commie would have tried to “catch” me, I would have made a great effort to fall the other way. The hard concrete would be preferable to falling into the arms of a Marxist.

Had the fainter been dying....he’d have behaved in precisely the same manner.
What I saw in the video clip is how the two women on her right, especially the one right next to her, continued staring straight ahead w/same expression, even as Karmel collapsed. She wasn’t the only one under the “spell”. Nothing was going to ruin that show. Then at the end when they all broke into applause, it was as if at the end of a magic act as VOILA! why, she’s not sawn in half after all, she’s ok, let’s give her a round of applause, folks.
Her obvious needs were not met on this photo-op, nor will her future health needs be met.
