There was a time when I thought that I could vote for Jeb. Now? Hell no.
To: jimbo123
There is little doubt that this is a concerted, meticulously planned effort by the GOPe to destroy Ted Cruz.

It is amazing how McCain, Jeb Bush, and the rest of the RINOs are only criticizing REPUBs these days. Not a word about RAT policies trashing the country and hurting people.
The DemocRATS know who their target is.

Conservatives advise Jeb Bush to keep his advice to himself. We’ve waited YEARS for someone with backbone to speak up.

Doesn’t Jeb know it’s over for the Republican party and with amnesty on the horizon will soon join the Whigs in the history books.

Hey Jeb! Just go away, also take Marco and Hillary with her Freedom Medal with you. Perhaps the three of you can rent a room at the Aspen Institute.

Coming from the party who routinely gives a "reach-around" to the democrats, I think he should STFU. How's that for restraint?

"Tactically it was a mistake to focus on something that couldnt be achieved"
That's just Jeb working alongside other RINOs to repeat something often enough that folks will believe it. We could have achieved defunding. With the Hastert Rule honored, we had the votes. It most certainly could have been done -- and I thoroughly enjoyed the looks of frustration and fear in the eyes of the socialists in Washington as that fact dawned on them. But, in the end, the surrender monkeys wanted their goodies right along side the democrats and caved. But the conservatives did gain a list of targets for the 2014 election. That's worth something. Oust McConnell and Graham.

George P. Bush, RINO in the making!
In contrast, George P. Bush lauded Cruz's campaign to defund Obamacare. "It's a monstrosity of a law," he said. "In terms of defunding it, that would be one way to reduce and mitigate the impact it's going to have on practicing physicians and hospitals here in Texas," The Dallas News quoted him as saying.
(Need Those T.E.A. Party Votes!
But with Election Day fast approaching, Bush said its probably too late for Republicans to pivot away from the partys conservative base and seize the political high ground on the immigration issue.
I am a pessimist as to the timing right now, said Bush, a co-founder of the Hispanic Republicans of Texas and a fluent Spanish speaker

Sort of nails it- that’s EXACTLY what’s wrong with the GOPe- entirely too much restraint in upholding American values, traditions and principles. They have totally lost their way, and are sadly clueless. The GOPe needs to fade away into the graveyard of history.

During the Bush years we had the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate and we had, not Obamacare, but prescription drug entitlements, Runaway spending, the federalization of education, soaring deficits, and a mountain of debt.
In other words, whatever we got, it wasn't "self restraint."
