Two days after a conservative political action committee endorsed his Republican challenger, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was gifted a trump card in the form of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.
Rubio, like Kentuckys junior Sen. Rand Paul, has enjoyed immense support from the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party, and his endorsement of McConnell on Fox News Sunday gives the embattled senior senator some much-needed cover.
Rubios backing comes at a critical time for McConnell.

If Rubio were on fire, and I had a full bladder ... I’d look the other way.

Marco Rubio is practicing to be the senate’s next McCain. When he is fully groomed, McCain can retire

This Tea Party member could care less who RINO Rubio supports. Rubio can go after the RINO support next election. I don't think he is going to get much Tea Party support.

I am not sure an endorsement from Rubio is a good thing following his actions and comments on amnesty

McConnell BARELY won in 2008 and his support has only gone down. If McConnell is the republican nominee, he will lose.
In a race between McConnell and a democrat, McConnell WILL NOT be the “lesser of two evils.”
That’s why we need Matt Bevin to defeat McConnell in the primary, to keep the seat.

Excellent point! A Rubio endorsement is about as important as two rinos humping. Somebody needs to post the picture.
BTW, what do Kentuckians think of Floridians anyway? I'll bet it is close to what we in SW Pennsylvania think of Philadelphians.
