Just secede already: The obstructionists aren’t going anywhere. Maybe we should

We don't want to live in Ted Cruz's America. He doesn't like ours. Maybe a split really is inevitable — and right

Yes, I know Michele Bachmann is from Minnesota and Steve King is from Iowa, but all this proves is that in the 150 or so years since the Civil War, the vituperative Confederate agenda of anti-Americanism has managed to spread its irresistible redneck poison into benighted pockets across the country. Kind of like Waffle House.

But to deny that the current attack on the federal government isn’t part of the hidebound Confederate agenda is to ignore the people who have engineered it and whose sedition will be rewarded with reelection

Much as Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell did in 2010 when he said that the “single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president,” Meadows’ legislative gambit revealed a man and a party absorbed in a classic state of Southern pique. It’s a pathology sadly worthy of Calhoun and his whole sorry legacy of tantrum-throwing quack parliamentarians who want to continue enjoying all of the benefits that come with being part of the United States without having to make any of the necessary sacrifices or compromises.

The Klan’s days of greatest power were during the presidency of Woodrow Wilson (Who used them as his personal version of OFA) and the numbers were greatest here in the Midwest.

I don't GAF what they think or do.

Well, you'd better, because as of right now, they are the ones electing presidents and enabling socialism in this country.

Note my friends PA is mostly red. The blue counties however hold the largest population.

Then it's not mostly red....Geographical area doesn't matter.

It would make for an interesting situation if the DIMs/LIBs/RINOs would take a hike. But like any disease entity, they would probably reappear in any cleansed area after some time. Eternal vigilance is necessary. It is kind of like spraying for bugs periodically.

I really cannot figure out why we are always likened to Confederates.

I surmise that Confederate label is intended to suggest pro-state power, limited power federal government. And being labeled as pro-state power is probably intended to rattle skeletons for descendants of slaves. Corrections welcome.

It would be nice if more libs were like this moonbat, but unfortunately, the vast majority won’t agree to let us go peacefully. I would be fine with a divorce and division of assets. I’d even agree to take on a higher per capita portion of the debt, because the split would allow us in a free market economy to prosper beyond the wildest dreams of Keynes. That may be why they can’t let us go.

Secession is a outstanding idea. They get Detroit. We get Atlanta. They get Oakland,we get Omaha. They get Camden,NJ,we get Charlotte. They get the decaying steel mills,we get the oil/gas/coal.They get the welfare parasites,we require ID for *all* voters. They get to make Mexico their 15th State,we patrol our borders *vigorously*.They allow every creature,of every gender,to "marry",we enforce the rules in force since the dawn of civilization.

I like it.And I'm as serious as a heart attack.

the vituperative Confederate agenda of anti-Americanism

The Lincoln high Federalist agenda, which Marx favored, of big and powerful central "indivisible" government, his system of nationally chartered banks, heavy progressive income tax,and public education financed by government, was the real Anti-American agenda of the times. That is why so many Marxists from Europe helped found the Republican Party, helped get Lincoln elected, and became generals in the North's army.

Pennsylvania, my home state, is purple. It elected O twice, but has a republican governor (but a dem AG) and one of our US Senators is a republican. Republicans also control the state house and (I think) we have more Rs than Ds in our congressional delegation. Those republicans that it has produced for the national stage (e.g. Tom Ridge, Milton Schapp) are often denigrated as “RINOs.” Yet, had McLame picked Ridge instead of Palin as his veep, we probably wouldn’t be going through what we’re going through now.

Milton Schapp was a Democrat. You must be really young.

Not young, but you’re right. I was thinking of Hugh Scott. Senior moment!

Maybe so. But if McCain had not picked Palin for veep, McCain would have been the first GOP nominee to ‘not’ get my vote! Palin was the ONLY reason I voted for him. I was dead-set on leaving my ballot blank until that point.

Anyone thinking they needed protection from blacks, Jews and Catholics wasn’t worth protecting anyway.

I like it. Separate the producers from the freeloaders. The liberals will then cease to exist in short order from starvation, crime, and other such things. Then we get all of America back minus the socialist liberals.
