Kathleen Sebelius: Why the Affordable Care Act is good for Kansas
The Wichita Eagle ^ | October 20, 2013 | by Kathleen Sebelius

Posted on 10/20/2013 5:40:54 AM PDT by Oldeconomybuyer

For the past 3 1/2 years, opponents of the Affordable Care Act have made misstatements about what would happen to families, to seniors, to employers and to health care costs as a result of the historic law. In spite of their predictions being so wrong, the attacks continue. So it’s important to give a snapshot of what health benefits the law has already produced for Kansans.

The ACA has already produced benefits for Kansans. In football terms, we’re early in the first quarter, and while our opponents want to declare “game over,” I’m confident that by the end of open enrollment, we’ll have millions of Americans, and thousands of Kansans, with health security that they never thought was possible.

One minute they say there are 15 million uninsured and then it is 30 million. One minute they say there are 500,000 signups, the next minute they won’t even tell you how many in a day signed up. But, they ALWAYS say there is less than 12 million illegal Mexicans....

The truth is, they never tell the truth. That’s the truth of it.

I’ll be happy when adults are back in power and understand that they represent the people.

"One minute they say there are 15 million uninsured and then it is 30 million."

We are dealing with the MOST corrupt administration EVER.
We have got to come up with a way to rid this country of this bunch

They put a financial gun to a person’s head to force them to buy something then declare success because they bought it.

Almost any administration official you ask, hear or read about just pulls spur-of-the-moment sh!t our of their ass because they know NOBODY in the media will challenge them on it. They won’t write about the lies, they condone and encourage them, actually. They even provide the lies in some cases.

Personally, I don’t think we’re going to take this country back by elections. I believe that the only way they can be ousted is when their lies and machinations fail and they push the limit of deprivation that makes our entitled class riot out of control. In other words, an economic collapse of massive proportion.

In my mind, this is where those that have gone Galt, prepped and are off the beaten Urban path will gain the upper hand.

Yes she’s probably setting herself up for office in KS.

There are low information voters in any party. Some conservatives will vote for her due to name recognition, especially those accessing only the MSM, and many simply because she’s female.

Her Republican opponent would have to do a lot of educating in the political adds, unless he’s a spineless RINO afraid he will offend someone, in which case, what’s the difference who gets elected?

Thousands upon thousands are benefiting from Nobamacare, yet journalists can’t find more than a dozen or so specific people who have completed enrollment.

Don’t know enough about Kansas voters to know if it could work, but I know political consultant-speak - and trust me, no one says “good for Kansas” in a headline unless they are running in Kansas.

It’s like Lindsey Graham’s sudden interest in the “port of Charleston” in his campaign material in SC. These damned politicians go to Washington and try to run all 50 states, but suddenly at campaign time they start mentioning only their own states (or major cities) by name, hoping to fool the voters...or even create a subconscious “us against them” thing.....

It will be interesting to see how long the doctors have to wait for reimbursement on claims submitted.

Lady you are either an idiot or just a plain old liar..
Healthcare costs are rising dramatically
Employers are dropping insurance coverage and changing workers hours to avoid penalties and higher costs
Families that were told they can keep their plans if they like their plans are learning their plans do not meet the GOVERNMENTS guidelines and their employers are changing their plans (Higher costs)thus hurting families. So which is it? Are you an idiot or a liar..
