Republican Gov. Scott Walker is using his new book to renew his criticism of 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and raise his own national profile as a reformer who took on public sector unions and won.
Walkers book provides a detailed account of his 2011 battle against public unions, the campaign he won against their efforts to recall him, and his unhappiness with Romney and other Republicans he says didnt learn the lessons of his political victories. The volume could set the stage for Walkers own candidacy in the future.
The Associated Press on Friday obtained a copy of Walkers book, Unintimidated: A Governors Story and a Nations Challenge, before its scheduled release Nov. 19. Walkers book includes an excoriation of Barack Obamas presidency and Washington politics, saying Obama has laid out a second term agenda that doubles down on the failures of his first. He says Wisconsins Republican-led policies have shown a better way forward for the country.

Stop yer whining, you know you were thinking of it, too!
He has to include the TEA Party. It is the heart of conservatism in this nation. Calling Cruz and Lee to lead on.
I could go for that. But ...
Does Walker have what it takes to be President?
(Assuming the standards return to their pre-Obama levels.)
now there’s a man with backbone. go scott walker.
Both would be great candidates - not only are they right on what matters, but they are both really smart and fearless.
But they should not brand themselves as spokesmen for the Tea Party.
They should brand themselves as leaders for all conservatives and the GOP, leaders who can bring the country back to core principles (which just happen to involve the issues that the Tea Party is talking about).
What are your concerns about Walker?
“Does Walker have what it takes to be President? “
What’s his handicap (golf)?
Walker/Cruz?
NO NO NO NO NO.
Walker’s a great guv for Wisconsin...but its WISCONSIN...his innner Wisconsin liberal, like that of Paul Ryans, DOES sneak out from time to time.
his rhetoric will make Romney look like a pitbull......he's done an outstanding job in Wisconsin, but he would never be an effective national communicator of conservative ideas IMO.
I’d like him to serve at least one full term as Governor before believing he can go for the big chair.
LOL. Walker doesn’t have the charisma to win on the top of the ticket. He could be a good V.P. though.
How are his union reforms holding up there? I remember liberals were ready to burn down Wisconsin the year they were passed. Now I haven’t heard a peep about them since he won his recall. You’d think if they constituted the mass torture the libs said they would that we would still be hearing sob stories.
Get back to us Walker once you have done a 180 on your support for Amnesty.
The GOP has forgotten that the world loves a brave fighter and despises cowards.
Now....when was the last time you heard the word unexpected and the news was positive?
One more point......Walker has consistently attracted voters beyond the Republican party....both as Milwaukee County executive and as Governor
If not Cruz, I’d be very happy with Walker.
LOL, the last time would’ve been if a Democrat politician did it. Despite the massive national hype over the union protests, the MSM must have given “blink and you miss it” coverage if any to the news of the surplus.
Cruz/Walker would be my dream ticket.
One of the reservations I have about Cruz in 2016 is that he has very little executive experience and I think Walker would help fill that resume gap.
retelling the story of his 2011 fight to effectively end collective bargaining rights for most public workers.
................................................
“Effectively” is a weasel word. He did not end collective bargaining. He curtailed it. If AP ever wrote a piece about a conservative without any weasel words, I would be shocked. They know that the average reader doesn’t even register such a word , much less know how it changes the meaning of the entire sentence. I despise the lying leftist media. Lying definition: attempt to deceive
