John McCain took a swipe at Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert in an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams Wednesday night.
During the interview, Williams brought up a statement Gohmert made last week at the Values Voter Summit claiming that the Republican Arizona senator supports al Qaida. Speaking at an event at the conservative conference, Gohmert referred to McCain as a “guy who’s been to Syria and supported al Qaida and rebels.”
McCain told Williams that it isn’t worth responding to someone who “has no intelligence.”
“Sometimes… comments like that are made out of malice, but if someone has no intelligence I don’t view it as being a malicious statement,” McCain said. “You know, you can’t respond to that kind of thing.”
A request for comment from Gohmert’s office was not immediately returned.

So, who is the real dummy?
I didn’t interpret it as a lie. The point of the comment was that without his father’s intervention McCain would not have graduated. McCain graduated from Annapolis and flight training not because he was good at it but because his father made sure it would happen.
Just my opinion, but I believe the commies broke him and they have been controlling him for years.
I’m sure his imprisonment and treatment left deep psychological disorders. However, you can look at his left jaw and see there are also remnants of medical problems, too.
All say his prior jaw cancer bout is arrested, but I don’t believe it. I think it has infested itself in his brain.

Wasn’t it just Sunday that he was telling people they should be respectful and stop the name calling? I can’t remember his exact words but I know I saw something along those lines.

But you are expressing disappointments from observations taken last January. I don’t believe Boehner had violated the Hastert Rule until yesterday.
You may consider there are some very rough characters that are working and threatening behind the scenes. Boehner has remarked on at least one occasion that requests from tea party members was ‘dangerous’. There is no question in my mind that he is a coward and that most of the ruling class politicians are cowards and that they are controlled.
Still Boehner needs to go and soon.
I really try hard to forget he’s my Senator. My other one, (Mc)Flake. Of course, ran as a Conservative, got elected, and turned tail.
A couple times I have called his office here and in DC for some not-related-to-the Obamacare/Debt stuff and in typical fashion, no call back. I think he probably tells his staff not to do a thing for the peons.

He violated it twice JUST this year 2013 before this CR (VAWA and tax deal) and twice the last session (Budget control and Sandy relief) yet not one challenged him, nor will they now.
Thats 5 total.
