Rep. Matt Salmon (R-AZ) said on Wednesday at the Heritage Foundation-hosted Conversations with Conservatives press event that House Speaker John Boehner has promised him that the Senates Gang of Eight immigration bill is dead in the House. I very recently had a conversation with the Speaker and if immigration reform moves, its going to move piecemeal, Salmon said in response to a question from Breitbart News. And it will go over one bill at a time and if there is any kind of conference, it will be on specific bills we send over. It will not be on the Gang of Eight bill. While Boehners spokesman Michael Steel has not immediately responded to confirm what Salmon said, if true it means the push for amnesty is dead.

I do like talking to you. You are civil and honest in your opinions.
They also promised us that Obamacare was dead.
My guess is that he plans on resigning at the end of this congress ~ 14 months from now,
But who knows ?
> “I showed you how I was a lone voice here calling for them to challenge him and not one would.”
You were expressing a desire for a challenge BEFORE there was proof positive of his true nature.
Similarly, any conservative member would not risk launching a crusade to remove Boehner BEFORE there was proof positive.
Just try using your logic in a court of law where you would advocate a conclusion based on hearsay and rumor. You would lose you case. To win a case there must be incontrovertible proof.
Now there is no doubt about the duplicitous character of John Boehner.
So I expect there are now members who are planning to remove him.
Boehnor said he would not violate the Hastert rule and look what happened.
Not true .
Jan 2013 Lou Gomert TX and a few other ‘Tea party conservatives’ in House made symbolic votes against Bohner for people who were not even in house and obviously not running.
It was the typical symbolic BS that cements our future as a lib hell.
They already dissed Bohner by the symbolic vote against him for no-one.
So they might as well have done it real and run against him.
But no, they were too cowardly to apply for that job.
How about Ted Cruz challenging Boehner as Speaker? Unlike members of the Tea Party Caucus, Cruz has five years to go before facing the electorate. He can afford to take unpopular positions, to "look bad", as you say. He need not play the 'goat'. Instead of being one of only two true conservatives in the Senate, he will have a nucleus of a dozen rock solid patriots surrounding him in the House. It will take years, or a decade, to attain the Senate seniority necessary to be effective in the Senate. As House Speaker with a six-year tenure, Cruz could be effective overnight.
What do you think?
Already brought up that he should do that (challenging Boehner as Speaker ) in a comment here at least once, got negative replies.
He won't.
That would bring GOP fantasies back down to earth..
I been posting here for years: its time for results long past tired of excuses.

Lets start that conversation by acknowledging we arent going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
************************
I’m REALLY tired of hearing that old line of “11-12 million illegals”!! That was the figure being used back in 2006-07 when Bush tried his amnesty push.
The REAL number of illegals is more like 20-30 million, because Obama stopped securing the border and stopped deporting illegals who either entered illegally or overstayed their Visas. That group includes an Aunt and an Uncle of Obama’s who both have lived here for years.
Obama stopped securing the border and stopped deporting illegals who either entered illegally or overstayed their Visas.

And there is the crux of it.
No matter what Congress does, the illegals are here, will not be deported, will incrementally gain benefits and at first, local rights to vote, practice law, even be given Federal & State jobs.
Amnesty by EO, amnesty by stealth, de facto amnesty....call it what you will. It is here to stay and it will just increase. They are going through the charade of votes in order to demonize those who aren’t playing along and reward those who are. That part is just pure politics.
Meanwhile, every year, more anchor babies reach 18, can just blend into the areas in America that are already majority Mexican until the control is secured. They may come from Indio and Mestizo stock, but the 2nd and 3rd generations are Americans. Many are educated, intermarried, live middle class lives, move anywhere they wish and don’t even speak Spanish very well. That is the assimilation. It is a long game. All we can delay is the recognition of the reality.
Eventually it ends up as the NAU and includes anyone who wishes to live here, regardless of where they originate, just as all Europeans can immigrate to any other EU country. Not sure where the American Brussels will be located or how much in-fighting will take place between the Mexican, Canadian and US elites, but it really doesn’t matter. Those actions are far above our pay grades as serfs.
Once there are established monetary unions and common markets in North America and Asia, just as in Europe, the next step is one world government. Nation states are relics and this is what is being taught to the current generation, everywhere.
Without rule of Law, just by rule of force. It is simply a matter of time.
Course, my fave moment was when the Wash/Po recently said amnesty was dead....and the amnesty-pimps went ballistic. The somber report WRT the burial of amnesty included a funereal quote from despondent pimp, Rep Luis Gutierrez (Dem-Third World), who had only recently sap-happily announced "we have the votes" for amnesty.
ROTFL. Does it get any stupider than that?
Yup.
GUTIERREZ HAS BIG PLANS---TO HIM, AMNESTY IS ONLY THE BEGINNING : "Once Congress approves an immigration increase, minorities should demand more, said Gutierrez, a leading advocate of the DOA Senate bill.
The next day after we pass it, you know were not going to be satisfied, were going to come back, he said. Were going to have a civil rights act, were going to have a voting rights act
Nobody is leaving this fight once we conclude this first chapter, he said. "Hopefully, in 30 years, [we] can bring immigrants
from all over the world, Gutierrez said.

This planned conquest speaks loudly of Gutierrez's nefarious political ambitions---organizing the Third World into competing pressure groups, voting blocs, and para-military groups----planning to (1) undermine US ntl security, takeover the SW, and, (2) rape the US Treasury.
===================================================
TAXPAYERS DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE THOROUGH INVESTIGATION OF GUTTIEREZ. US citizens demand need to know answers WRT an individual w/ nefarious designs on our government.
<><> Who is Gutierrez?
<><> Did he get into Congress using voter fraud?
<><> Did he coach illegals to vote using multiple identities?
<><> How many identities does Gutierrez have now?
<><> How many identities did Gutierrez ever use?
<><> Does Gutierrez have a rap sheet here? In Mexico? Elsewhere?
<><> Does he now or did he ever receive welfare, food stamps, SSI, free medical care, Section 8 housing, UI, Workmen's comp under several identities?
<><> Did he ever apply for, and receive, monthly SS checks, claiming "asylum?"
<><> Does he have a sub-prime mortgage obtained w/ the help of The Hispanic Caucus on Capitol Hill?
<><> Did Gutierrez ever make false claims on IRS forms in order to get EITC refunds?
<><> Does Gutierrez---a former cab driver---have a legal driver's license?
<><> Does he have a valid passport?
<><> How many times did Gutierrez wire-transfer money back to Mexico? The Third World?
<><> How often does he travel to Mexico? The Third World?
<><> Is he registered to vote under several identities?
<><> Does he belong to radical America-hating organizations planning armed conflict to takeover the American Southwest?
<><> Do his kids now or did they ever get in-state tuition--free school lunches--welfare--- food stamps-free healthcare---SSI/ADD checks.
<><> Does Gutierrez know how much money is being drained from the US economy---wired back to secret Mexican bank accounts?
<><> Does his retirement include SS checks for multiple when all his identities?
<><> Did Gutierrez ever use his Congressional office to coach illegals on using multiple identities to get tax dollars?
<><> Did Gutierrez ever use his Congressional office to help illegals SWINDLE THE US GOVT?
=================================================
DID GUTIERREZ USE HIS CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE TO HELP ILLEGALS OBTAIN FRAUDULENT MORTGAGES? MORTGAGES THAT DEVSTATED THE US ECONOMY? THAT US TAXPAYERS WERE FORCED TO BAILOUT?
That is the emptiness of the Mccain and Grahamnesty and Dem's (even Rand Paul's at one time) argument that ‘the GOP must support amnesty to win elections with some Hispanic votes’. Then they call them so-cons.
They never get asked to tell us exactly what it would take to get Hispanic votes because polls all show amnesty alone wouldn't do it.
And creating new voters without knowing that price is suicidal.
Back to my point, think many in the GOP want to give Obama that gift after that whipping they got? Hard to imagine.
There's a heap of insight in that comment.
Amnesty is a planned, calculated conquest by the Third World. These are not nice people. Their nefarious political ambitions need to be exposed.
The conniving Third World has designs on the US govt---organizing into competing pressure groups, voting blocs, and para-military groups----planning to (1) undermine US ntl security, (2) takeover the SW, and, (3) rape the US Treasury.
Nice people ?? LOL
But what about my kids ‘nanny’ Rosita??
Does she have to go home too?
Then Who's going to watch my kids and do the housework?
Please don't say my wife, I am not approaching her with that.
Then there's Pedro who cuts my lawn....no I am not doing that...
:)
LOL. Oh, okay then.
