How about Ted Cruz challenging Boehner as Speaker? Unlike members of the Tea Party Caucus, Cruz has five years to go before facing the electorate. He can afford to take unpopular positions, to "look bad", as you say. He need not play the 'goat'. Instead of being one of only two true conservatives in the Senate, he will have a nucleus of a dozen rock solid patriots surrounding him in the House. It will take years, or a decade, to attain the Senate seniority necessary to be effective in the Senate. As House Speaker with a six-year tenure, Cruz could be effective overnight.
What do you think?
Already brought up that he should do that (challenging Boehner as Speaker ) in a comment here at least once, got negative replies.
He won't.
That would bring GOP fantasies back down to earth..
I been posting here for years: its time for results long past tired of excuses.
